Sunderland's back in this too.

We could finish 4th.

Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Unless Red Bull are making maneuvers behind the scenes to take full control in time for next season I'm starting to imagine this time next year if we do get promoted we will be feeling like Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich supporters feel and pretty much all season have felt very downhearted and described their last 10 months as a joyless painful and depressing experience watching their team lose week in week out with sporadic moments of escape from the soul destroying pit the Premier League lulled them into like the child catcher in chitty chitty bang bang.

Despite the pitfalls we and whoever gets promoted will face and suffer, championship football supporters are like lemmings and I certainly include myself in that category and would even add thrill seeking masochistic kamikaze-esque in there too, unable to stop myself from ignoring all logic and dreaming that everything will be hunky dory, nothing to worry about and let's face that when the time comes.

So I have come to the conclusion of fack all that, let's just enjoy a very happy celebratory Leeds United moment as they are few and far between beginning with 3 points tomorrow night and then hopefully in a month's time and whatever our fate next season, enjoy and savour that too because despite Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich fans having a season from hell in the EPL, I bet they would still not want to miss out on the feeling of pure euphoria when they clinched their spot amongst the oil rich billionaire clubs for all the tea in China because money just can't buy or ever take away those precious football supporter memories....I still want that, you still want that and most of all I'm sure despite everything the Leeds United players and DF desperately want that promotion feeling experience too....Let's effing do this!!!

Square Ball said not only was Farke offered a keeper
in January, we had first dibs on Brereton-Diaz. Farke
said no to both as he really like the balance of his
smallest, highest paid squsd that doesn't get injured.
Ever. So that's great then.

Massive gamble about to go t 1 ts up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If it's true, Farke clearly wanted to be the big hero, ingratiating himself with the owners and thereby guaranteeing his job after promotion. The last few weeks has thrown a completely different light on the man we previously thought of as solid and sensible.

Apparently boro have 8 injuries and are down to the bare minimum - Howson played central defence at the weekend

What could possibly go wrong?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I know that’s how it’s being reported but bar one, They’re not new injuries… and they have players coming back. It’s likely only one change from the side they’ve started with recently. Howson has played centre back quite a few times for them. Many of their fans think he’s their best centre back

Central defence and keeper has been their problem all season. Unlike us they replaced their injured but very dodgy keeper in January. And they’ve looked better defensively since they started playing midfielders in central defence.

They’ve not carried the same attacking threat though since January when they sold latte lath and Doak got crocked.

Morris and Hackney are a good midfield pairing though and our midfield haven’t turned up for a month.

Boro are on a decent run without playing great, but they’ve not played anyone in form. Sadly they’re not playing a form team on Tuesday either.

Anyone watching the Leicester game wondering if that will be us next season (if we were promoted?)…
Half empty, dead atmosphere….players going through the motions. It’s just frightening how bad it is.

Yes I wasn't too interested tbh but flicked over a few times and actually thought Newcastle might get 6 or 7 when they went 3 up but clearly eased off in the 2nd half
and for me the inevitability of all three promoted sides
from last season coming straight back down could at least be improved upon if the EPL had a relegation play off system.

You would have drama and excitement virtually guaranteed to the end of the season where tesms like Man U and Spurs as the table stands would still have work to do to be safe where the bottom 2 go down but then 3rd bottom plays 6 th bottom and 4th bottom plays 5th from bottom over 2 games whereby the winners ensures their EPL status and the losers meet in a play off final at Wembley to decide who stays up and who go down.
