Liverpool, extrapolating key deciding factors that happen in the NBA. The tactical tweaks, ability to control the variance and keep the level and energy expended at a level throughout the 7 games would go to Liverpool.
Both have match winners on the right wing. Both have the top two CB in football. Both have top class GK, although Allison is the better one here.
Liverpool depth is better especially in attack and that can be decisive over a 7 game series. Fatigue and injuries will come into play. I think it goes Liverpool 3, Arsenal 2, and the other two drawn.

Op...ohhh, which is better?? How about both teams play in a 38 game season league, against various teams of different abilities...whoever finishes top is obviously the best! Oh...and both teams play each other as well.
Be great if that happened wouldn't it....

I googled the last seven matches Liverpool have faced Arsenal in all competitions and it ends up being identical with 2 wins, 3 draws, 2 losses.
I guess the match on May 11th should settle it - assuming both sides are full strength.

One game under Slot where we were at rock bottom and depleted and we were unlucky to draw.
May 11th will basically be an exhibition, wont prove anything

Yeah it's hard to say cos I feel like they have more match winners and all the games would be tight. Maybe it's just copium to get past the disappointment of this year.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye but your year ain't finished yet? Could still be a huge season if you manage the Champs League, you've had a few titles but this might be even bigger for you?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess I mean the PL season. I think the CL would probably mean slightly more for me but it's genuinely hard to say as we haven't won the league in so long.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Get yehof course winning the league is great, takes a whole season and you're playing your rivals so it's sweet but if you can get your first Champs under your belt that would defo raise confidence for next year?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah for sure, the manner of it also matters. Again it sounds like I'm taking a pop at Liverpool, but I think beating City to it either of the last two years would have been much more satisfying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably? City over the last few seasons were head and shoulders better than they have been this season and you got close asf, must have been frustrating,Liverpool have certainly raised their bar this year but imo, and obvs only mine aren't as good as peak City were although it's still a great achievement by them
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool were head and heels better than city when they won their last title, not as good this season but they win another title.
Some teams just know how to win.
Liverpool are better!! What kind of stupid question is this?
Liverpool obviously. However the core of Arsenal’s team are quite young and can improve, whereas Liverpool’s is getting on.
Arsenal also have a couple of young players who have come early into the team due to injury and not looked out of place, one of them in Skelly who has forced Arteta to abandon playing four centre backs and two defensive midfielders, which has given them a much better balance, especially down the left and resulted in Martenelli picking up form when he looked to be going the wrong direction earlier in the season.
You’d expect Arsenal would continue to get better with a couple of additions whereas Liverpool need to replace three world class players in around two seasons and another who looks set to leave end of this season who provides so much of the creativity.
Not to mention City of course who left it a season too late to replace their aging former world class players. If they get that right in the summer, they could be right back where they were.

Liverpool have the edge on mentality which goes a long way and puts them ahead of us as a trophy winning force.
I'd rather have our squad though moving forward, hoping we can build that level of mentality too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the right answer. We have relied on our legends like VVD, Mo and Ali who have been there and done it, got the T-shirt etc but they are getting old while Arsenal have a young squad and have produced 2 new 18 year gems and if you get a striker then you will be hard to stop.
Your manager has held you back too. A bit too negative. There was a time when you used to play 4CB's and 2/3DM's and you ended up drawing games. He needs to release the shackles.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can buy a squad but you can't buy the mentality. Arsenal squad is good enough but something is missing and it's the hardest thing to get right, harder than assembling a good squad.
