Couldn’t care less tbh, Amad should be back now so he can reclaim his spot

Just feels like we get some players back and then others are injured. I know that's part and parcel of football, but we always seem to have a good bit of the squad out injured.

I don't get the dislike of him... Seems to be a matchthread thing.

He's not the best, but puts in a shift every time and comes up with some decent assists and goals. More than our forwards!

Fack. That’s all we needed.

Probably Dorgu or Amass on the right then? Or play all of our available CBs and shift Mazraoui to RWB?

Maybe Kamason gets some minutes on Sunday.

I'm not too concerned about the league games but, in Bibao, we'll need to be solid at the back in what should be a great atmosphere. I'd be playing Dorgu and Mazraoui as the wing backs with Maguire, Yoro and AN Other in the middle. Would he risk Shaw? It'd be handy if De Ligt comes back but must say, moving forward, I quite like one of Maguire or De Ligt in the middle with more mobile CBs either side.

I believe Bruno and Dalot and both in top 5 for most mins this season in the entire league for outfield players. Hardly a surprise he's eventually picked up an injury.

Even more reason to give Bruno no more than 60 mins this weekend too. I'd personally prefer he played no more than 30 off the bench or even not all. We're going to need a Bruno masterclass next week in Spain.

If he was nothing more than a squad player I would not mind him so much. He shouldn’t be anywhere near being a regular though.

Way too many defensive lapses and his short passing is abysmal.

One thing he really is good at though is getting in behind opposition defenses though. If only he could teach that to Rasmus.

He definitely isn't good enough to play RWB in my opinion. His attacking output is generally quite poor.

Nice goal last week against lyon and he does pop up every now and then with a goal but his crossing and final ball is just not good enough to play this role. We basically need a creative winger playing there who is also decent defensively. Not an easy position to fill and possibly why we might see Amad playing there again as he looked good there.

Can't have this... Even if you don't like him.

Might be a time for Amass to step up. Him on the left, Dorgu on the right will literally be the most attacking fullback set up since Amad played there.

Putting Amad, returning from injury there would be gambling on his fitness. Subs for now.

The always uninjured Dalot getting injured is disturbing. Add to it Zirkzeeas well as a hold of others. We have to worry about underlying issues affecting their fitness

He’s almost always fit so reliable in that sense.

But ruins almost every opportunity when in good attacking positions, he’s shiyte imo.

The fact he so often is in the most dangerous positions for us, is a testament to whatever the fck formation we’re playing is but he’s so rubbish it hardly ever pays off.

Not having to watch Dalot in a United shirt is always cause for celebration.

Dalot's injury could well see us starting Lindelof against Bilbao.

Kamason then?

Mason Mount played there in ET v Lyon.

Didn't Toby Collyer get a short appearance v Leicester at RWB?

posted on 25/4/25

He’s not great there but could be Maz, with Amass on the left.

Shaw back now to help at LCB, with Yoro, Lindelof, Maguire and maybe De Ligt back too?

I think he'll go with experience in Bilbao

The back three and wing backs I'd expect to be Maz at RWB, Dorgu at LWB, with Yoro, Maguire an AN Other (probably Lindelof) at CB. Even if fit I suspect he'd hold Shaw and De Ligt back from starting.

That will be pointless if we concede, which we will. As we have seen we need to score 3 to 4 goals to be sure. Maz as a wingback has failed regularly. Dorgu is a more attacking option. We need to score both home and away to have a chance (against one of the best defensive teams in Europe). I'll hate to watch us defend for 90 minutes, only to concede that foolish goal Onana always allows. Go for it or go home.

Perhaps I'm wrong but I can't see him throwing in a young kid at LWB in such a game. At home perhaps he would but not sure away. I could be wrong though, of course.
