Had a quiet day watching the cricket (on laptop). Derby's going well until last few overs. Honours even I think at 267-5.
Unfortunately for me an issue with one of my eyes occurred out of the blue yesterday evening in Venice. I have managed to get an appointment with an ophthalmologist tomorrow morning to find out what it is. If the eye is OK I will be trying to get to Hull in time though I think on this occasion I will genuinely need to be chauffeured.
Should I give an eye for 3 points, if such a deal was available?
Sorry to hear that Vidal. If the worst comes to the worst you could retrain as a referee?

😄
I'll keep an eye out for you. 🤞🏻
Never seen us lose at Hull’s new stadium. Won’t be going tomorrow though. Hope your eye recovers Vidal. Another 3 pointer. Win this one and we will be 90% safe. Lose will mean a nervy game against Stoke.
Good luck Vidal from one who has had various eye problems over the years.
I had cataract replacements (at an unusually young age apparently) a few years ago. Donor was a Ring-tailed Lemur. Look a bit odd but fantastic night vision.
Seems to be likely to be either a posterior vitreous detachment or retinal detachment in my case. Don’t really want a retinal detachment.
I had a retinal detachment in one eye and a tear in the other in 1986 but both were dealt with and I have been OK since bar a further small tear in the 90s again dealt with (this time easily via laser). I seem to be stable just needing annual checkups so I'm sure all will be well Vidal if you do have a retinal detachment.
Well thanks for the reassuring words. I will see what transpires.
Hopefully.

Yes if we want to overtake them. No if we want them on the beach and us needing a win.
Hoping CBT and Roofe might be on the bench today. If we need a goal with fifteen minutes today these are more likely to produce something than Barkhuizen and Wheeldon. There are some conflicting rumours of Elder, there has been talk of a leg “broken in two places”. I expect this is an exaggeration and it may be that there are couple of small fragments detached as part of a ligamentous or impact injury which is not quite the same thing. There is a chance he might also be on the bench, maybe for Rooney.
Quite right. Rooney’s performances on the bench have been appalling …
For whatever reason he is not trusted. Needs a loan out next season.
I have a vitreous detachment which is OK. They dilated my pupils so I won't really know what is going on and I'm intolerant of illumination. Spart for a day you might say.
Goodish news Vidal. Just be intolerant.
