I liked this comment about their tifo.
‘That is like something you would see years ago, on a card in a phone box near Kings Cross.
Nude man with curly locks likes to empty both barrels. Phone 01690 1690. Ask for Big Hairy Bear.
Strictly cash only.’

Some fuss for a pre-season friendly.
Don't do soc med apart from JA.
I'm a hypocrite - laugh at all the soc med stuff sourced by you lot.
Don't have time to keep up with fitba so again I rely on you guys.
Wouldn't confuse me with Bilbo Baggins.
Fvkin older I get less me time I get.
My choices tho - 'cept Grandweans they're non negotiable.

Barry will be along in 3, 2, 1...?
Point apiece was about right, in a typically low quality OF encounter. Take that overall, given the 4 key personnel we had missing, but BR needs to wise up to some pretty glaring (and repeating) issues in these games. Defensively we continue to be an absolute soft touch dealing with basic high balls into our box … in fact, high balls anywhere on the park TBH (we’re hopeless on attacking corners as well, unless Scales can get his napper on something). We also continue to be SO easy to hit on the counter.
Basically we’re just not a very good team when we don’t have the ball (bar Maeda’s heroic pressing), which seems to be a recurring blind spot for BR … although this problem’s been around longer than just his latest tenure. Keep saying it, but we badly need an actual defensive midfielder … and the arrival of a LB who can actually defend will obviously help. We’ve had a cracking season overall, but IMO we can’t keep overlooking these issues and expect that to continue.
Rodgers wants us to play a certain way but the problem is we dont get any serious practice at it.
he sits and watches our midfield, barely pressed, pass the ball backwards in 90% of matches and thinks "this is a brendan team, i'm amazing, i'd sh@gg me".
the minute we play decent opposition and we are pressed we fold. it's not good.
Your view has some merit though I'd still rather have our defence than Rangers. Yeah, aside from being full of midgets we are a side full of guys that shat out of anything that might see them take a head knock. Just the indicator of who wants it the most. I'm watching guys jump too early, too late or too low to make it look like they're trying when they aren't. Rangers had a few as well tbf.
Given Maeda's travel and circumstances it is hardly surprising he was off it a bit. How many times did GT hit him a pass and he let Tav step in and waltz away? The bigger concern for us all is his missus looking at the NHS and thinking naw, I'll go home for it.
Re Idah, we should remember the multiple insipid contributions from Kyogo before he left and it is not so bad. He's our Dessers except with the frustrating replacing the hilarious - decent stats but the package is clearly wanting. Seen buses turning faster. If we make our money back it will be decent. Villa wanting the Danish lad so we might miss out there. Kenny needs some time to properly show what he has. Cotton wool for most of the others.
Rangers played as per. Ferocious in the middle but out wide we always had an out. Jefte is awful. Cerny bit of an off day.
Fergie is right, that incident in the box with Hagi would be a foul anywhere else - but for Celtic - he kicks Calmac as he goes down and that's how he injured himself.
Walsh let too much go too early imho but nothing too controversial.
Can’t read anything into yesterday. It was a meh game no matter how much anyone wants to talk it up.
And who of our side wants an injury 3 weeks before the cup final? Look at what happened to Jota when we were strolling the title at Tannadice.
i think next season will be interesting. Curious to see if rangers manage to get a good manager in.
not worried about their spending, they have been spending 10-15 million anyway, i'd be shocked if they suddenly started spending 40.

Balance that with players we might easily sell.
Maeda and Kuhn are two obvious targets.
i think we will sell at least one of them.
wouldnt be fussed if it was Kuhn, i reckon he had a purple patch this season so peak time to punt to some mug and then go buy O'Riley
I missed a wee bit of the game live, so there was an incident I saw in the Sportscene highlights for the first time … think it was Greg Taylor’s (?) arm clearly being hooked as he drove into their box, which brought him down? They only showed it once (not like them, when they usually show the crappiest, wild sclaffs 20 yards wide of goal from 5 different fecking angles), and didn’t discuss it afterwards … What was all that about? From the briefest of looks it seemed a clear pen, but maybe I’m missing something?
The only part of yesterday's game I have seen was our goal. Haven't even seen Dessers goal.
I'm thinking there's a big chance Sean Dych rocks up at Ibrox as their next permanent manager. Dych & Thelwell are acquainted unsurprisingly, however much a say he has in proceedings.
Looking forward to the Champions League games this week. Expect PSG to have enough to get through. Anything can happen in Milan

Using the Dessers v Bilbao shirt pull as a reference, then that’s a penalty as there was more force used, but similar to that incident, I thought Taylor made a meal of it and it wasn’t a penalty for me.
