Yeah can't say I wm concerned at all right now. Transfer windows are always different and loads of stuff gets done in August moreso than July.
Zero doubt we will add 5-6 players by the end in my opinion.
Sounds like Arias is finally over the line.
Looks like two good attacking players so far.
Fairly clear we are looking for at least one full back and very likely two and a Goalkeeper and you would think another attacker is needed yet as well. Midfield? Not sure on that, with Boubacar going and Doyle gone I wonder if that isn't on the table as well.
Can’t help wonder if 3 of the 6 signings some are crying out for are already at the club?
Posters with short memories might evidently be forgetting we were once again forced into the January window market, and panic buy to avoid what looked like certain relegation.
€50m was bought forward from the summer transfer kitty to stay in the division, very much like what happened just a couple of seasons ago and what led JL to fall out with the club.
Unfortunately how many more arrive will depend entirely on shifting some dead wood. It could be a case of one out, one in from here.
Fosun Out!
Goalkeeper, Wing back, centre back, midfielder, forward. So not less than another 5 new faces on top of Lopez and Arias. We’ve spent less than half the money we got in for Cunha and Ait Nouri and probably a few bob to still come in for Fabio, Guedes, Johnstone. Plus some of the top earners will have gone to reduce the wage bill.
Don’t see a problem in getting that rebuild completed. What we don’t know yet is whether the new faces are going to do any good.
Medical now booked in for Arias after finances fully agreed.
Apparently Guedes working well in training & not pushing to leave, not sure whether another chance is a good or bad idea

You certainly are totally dysfunctional if you think he didn't mean signing "at least six".

and you of course Stan are (like your partner) never wrong - everyone has said we need at least 5 or 6 new players, nobody to my knowledge has ever said we WILL sign 5 or 6

Bit of an enigma is Guedes. No question he has ability but you never know what you’re going to get from him match by match. I’d sell him if we got a decent offer but he’s probably a good squad player if not.
Sa suffered a minor eye injury in training in Portugal and won’t be playing in any of the behind closed doors friendlies arranged over there

Honestly one of the stupidest arguments we have seen on here. Surely there can't be a Wolves fan alive not hoping we get six players this summer
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not an argument mate. It's called reality. I'd love to get 6 new players in and if we do, there should be at least 3 quality, expensive ones, plus some decent squad players. But that takes money which this club, under Fosun are reluctant to do. I hope we spend all the money we got from sales. At present we still have 61m euros left in the kitty. (44m if we buy Arias)
There will be more players leaving, I'm sure, either on loan or sold, but I'm not confident that this club gets the right quality players. Just look at the "ones for the future" this club has bought over the years and see how many have actually made it. That's without getting into the Fabio saga. Meupiyou didn't make Portugal and Djiga is now at Rangers. They're just the latest.
Just noticed DJ now wants the 7 I stated earlier. "Not less that another 5 faces on top of Lopez and Arias" Will we see 8 soon?
Ebanks-Blake broke his left leg playing for Wolves against Birmingham in 2013. The injury effectively ended his career in the top flight but he carried on playing for a few years at a lower level before being forced to retire.
He is now in court having brought a case against the surgeon that operated on him after that injury. SEB claims he wasn’t given enough info about the possible risks of the procedure. The surgeon argues he discussed it with him.
The case goes on.
Wolfie is like Trump. Terrified of ever admitting he was wrong. His expectation was that we would sign two this summer. Then changed it to maybe three. Now the idiot is claiming I changed my estimate to agree with his estimate of 7 😂
You really do get emotional DJ. I've stated 2 or 3 from the start, based on our summer signings from past seasons and that's a hypocritical comment from you too. I've admitted when I've been wrong, but I don't ever recall you doing so. Your answer is to go into hiding for a few days when you've slipped up. Plus, again, there's no need for insults.
And do you actually read your own remarks? First it's "at least 6", now it's "not less than 5, blah, blah, blah."
Agree with you Spangles, Guedes a bit of an enigma. Another factor which would persuade me to sell him for a reasonable offer is that, I believe, he is now the highest earner at the club. With the money we could get for Guedes we could surely buy another squad forward who will be on half of his wages.
Can anyone tell me why Semedo is in Portugal with the squad, but training on his own? Surely he should have been left in Wolverhampton to train.
Just an extended holiday for him.
Semedo is in Portugal training, but in a different place to where wolves are training

We have been on the same forum for decades and not once in that time have you admitted to being wrong about anything. When someone is so disingenuous in their comments then insults are fully justified. Shows how shallow you are that you are very quick to spot typos but pretend you haven’t seen me admitting I was wrong, which unfortunately has happened many many times.
Don’t really know why typos are such a thrill for you to spot. We all make them. ‘Not less that another five faces on top of Lopez and Arias’.I presume that’s an attempt at English but sounds like a session with Epstein.
Talking of Trump not only did he stay on the podium for the photos after presenting Chelsea with the CWC, film caught him stealing one of the winners medals and putting it in his pocket before moving on.
They also had to present a replica trophy as Trump kept the original in the Oval Office after a press conference.

I think the size of his wages is probably the reason he’s still here. Can’t imagine another club coming in for him and offering him as much. So will he take a drop or sit with us for the benefit of his bank account. Been the same problem with Fabio and although hopefully he will move on permanently this summer, I wouldn’t rule out him having another loan to see his contract out.
All change in the goalscoring dept. Sam Johnstone is being chased by newly promoted Sunderland and Burnley.
But reports now emerging that if the right offer came in they would also be prepared to sell Jose Sa.
