Get nacho out of that team. It is about being clinical in a final and this guy is not clinical.

Ooh, yes please. What a player he is, especially at his age.
Fack Maguire, him and Lindelof shouldn’t start. Put Mazza in CB
Maguire had a proper stinker today don't let that score line fool you. Maguire and Lindelof were woeful
Scholay we don’t have many options. Mainoo has been garbage this season and offers little atm. So he’s not an option. Mount is super injury prone, can even start? Nacho is hit or miss but sometimes he can be dangerous like against City.
Lindelof is a hazard so should not start. Shaw is too injury prone, doubt he will be fit or fully match ready.

Will be interesting to see how Mount does in our next 2 games. Will he have the chance to prove he should start in the final? I suspect Garnacho will start because if his pace/ball carrying, but we will see.

I believer Maguire for his efforts should start but, he had a stinker.
I would bench Nacho personally. The players that came on today are technical players. Ball playing players. We need these players against Spurs. If we start that final against Spurs like we started today, goodnight vienna.

They lack any type of calmness or confidence. It is disastrous to this team. I loved Heaven's confidence on the ball and Yoro is obviously capable. The goal we conceded today really came from that annoying weakness that seems to exists in every player who should be a "leader"

Yeah have thought that myself, classy defender
Onana
Mazraoui
Yoro
De Ligt
Amad
Casemiro
Ugarte
Dorgu
Bruno
Mainoo
Mount
It's a good thing that we now have options with players returning and that will keep Ange guessing as to the line up.
I've a feeling our finishers will be as important as our starters though.
What we can't do is gift Spurs a cheap early lead. We need to be on it from the start. That's why I've changed my mind now and think we shouldn't wrap the players up in cotton wool. Obviously don't overplay them but we do need to keep them sharp.
If you turn up you’ll beat Spurs. Ange is on his way out, and he’s tactically inept anyway.
Scholay it’s not always about technical players; it’s about players who can make a difference. Mainoo for example impacts games one in 5 to 10. Not good enough for a final and he doesn’t fit anywhere. He can’t play in the 2 or the 10s. He came on against a weakened tired Bilbao: wont be the same in the final.
Why do you keep banging on about mainoo?? Where did I advocate he should start?
15th plays 16th

Don’t worry about gifting us a goal - it’s guaranteed we will return the favour.
For me, the players who I feel should be in the starting line-up include
Onana, Maz, Yoro, Maguire, Bruno, Ugarte, Amad, Hojlund. Then we have a number of players fighting for the other 3 positions, but whoever they are, the impact the subs can make is crucial also.
Given the inconsistencies of our team, apart from Bruno, very few can be relied to give a 'week in week out performance, so I feel we just need to hope our team generally is 'on it' for the final, regardless of the actually personnel.
There are certain positions where one player isn't really so much better than the alternative, so just hoping Amorim gets his combinations right
Get the fck innnn. Good result, into the final. Fck the fact Spurs have beaten us 3 times this season, means nothing now.
I am going to be in Cape Verde for the final, luckily the hotel has a sports bar so it’ll be a 6pm kick off and a few hours away from the Mrs

Casemiro cannot be denied now. The squad is pretty much set. Only question is whether Garnacho is given another chance to fack up again.

Yeah, he has definitely bucked up his ideas, so I would have no issues on him starting. But we have a number of players who will be starting and we have no idea really want type of performance we will get from them - Maguire has been pretty good recently, but wasn't great yesterday - I know that can happen with any player, but ours seem to do that on a regular basis. It's like Nacho, he may start and have a stormer...............
That team but with Jim Leighton in goal to increase your chances.
I'm making my prediction.
1st Onana howler 1-0 Spurs
Spurs dominating then taken out by a simple ball 1-1
Maguire og 2-1 Spurs
Maguire mazy run and finish 2-2
2nd Onana howler 3-2 Spurs
2mins to go, Spurs take off a CB for forward. Amad scores. 3-3
Last minute Maguire overhead kick 4-3.
