Didn't win the Carabao Cup, lost the final, so hasn't "won the lot".

He's played about 5 games hasn't he

Was no great loss in my book, weak as f**k - never seen a player bullied so much in recent years as he was by Calvert-Lewin in one of the last pre-pandemic games v Everton at home.

You sure you've got the right game? We won that 4-0 (I remember cos it was the last game before lockdown), and the year before that was Sarri who never playing him?

You have to excuse my memory not easy at 64 mate lol.

December 2019 i think it must have been home win for Everton.

Didn't go to the 4-0 Everton game immediately before season was curtailed, went up to midweek Liverpool Cup game and remember talking in the car between us about the pandemic and actually joking that the season might be abandoned never seriously thinking that it would be.

All became so real that night for me personally, remember being in the pub before the game and then in the toilets in the shed end suddenly thinking do i touch the taps when going to wash my hands?

Reality kicked in and decided didn't want to do the game at the weekend, amazing looking back how life changed over such a short space of time.

Anyway great result tonight at a very nervy Bridge even if the performance was laboured. Fingers crossed for the weekend.
