I have a soft spot for Palace too. I bought a flat in Upper Norwood when I lived in London. They called that part of SE London, Crystal Palace. It overlooked Crystal Palace Park and the National Sports Athletic Stadium. Which was actually all a few miles away from Thornton Heath, Selhurst Park and Croydon. Which surprised me. CPFC and Selhurst Park isn't in Crystal Palace.

52 .... London prices for football and other stuff are even higher than they were back in the old days . Especially Fulham which is the most expensive stadium in Europe to attend.

Wow Fulham the most expensive. I remember it as down at heel. The Bridge seemed the poshest, I saw a couple of film stars there walking to the ground.

Rex Harrison and Rachel Roberts walked to the Bridge hand in hand. We also saw a tv actor whose name I've forgotten, I think he was in Z Cars.
