His attitude (as well as his brother) hasn’t been great for a while. He’s a talent but I’d have no issues if we sold him for a fair price.
I thought that he should have started last night. At the same time, he is very frustrating and very wasteful. Its a strange one, as I believe he is only second to Yamal for goal contributions for U21 players over the last 2 seasons. So maybe we should be looking to keep him.
At the same time, he has been incredibly greedy this season, often shooting when he should be looking to assist. He has scored 6 goals in the PL from 84 shots. If you are converting 1 in 14 shots then you need to be looking at yourself and questioning whether you are making the best decisions for the team. Last season his stats were much the same - 7 goals from 100 shots. With Antony and Rashford doing similar when they played last season its no surprise we struggled to score goals.
If Amorim is to stay next season then I suspect that Nacho will be gone. He got Rashford out of the club as quickly as he could, so would expect the same will happen here.
Good summary, Elvis.
He's obviously a talent. If he develops composure he's got a good chance of becoming an elite player. It will be a shame if we see him do that at another club. But there are no guarantees he becomes the best version of himself, especially in the short term. Are we in a position right now to opt against cashing in and patiently develop him?
It'd be a shame if he goes but I also wouldn't be heartbroken by it either.
Get a good price for him and invest it elsewhere and we're probably better off.
Is he having the same treatment as Rashford perhaps ?
Look, I know things are down at your club at the minute, but I think you have more serious issues to be worried about than some pampered players who thinks they are more than what they are.
I honestly take no pleasure in saying this, but the institution that is MUFC is crumbling, like the Roman Empire.
I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Glazers saddled your club with £800M of debt that they haven't even reduced in the 20 years they have owned you, you need to let that sink in.
Then, your once beautiful stadium, which was the pride of the premier league needs millions of pounds of work, your training center is still stuck in the 90's and needs millions of pounds of work, and you need at least 11 £60-100M players to get you competing again.
So for any potential buyer, that is £2 billion before you even look at paying what MUFC is worth.
At a minimum, any prospective buyer is looking at a £7 billion pound project.
Who is left that can fund this ? An oil rich country ? A multi billion pound person who wants a project ?
If MUFC can find this, then no doubt about it, this club will be back where it belongs and making billions of pounds.
The only other way out is a total reset, and I am not being abrupt our trying to wind anyone up over this, I reckon a drop down the league or leagues could be the only answer. The club cannot sustain what is going on for much longer.
Anymore bottom half league finishes and the club will end up in administration as the debt repayments will not be covered. Within the next year or so, you will need a big transfer or transfers out just to cover the repayments.
I woke up this morning, and I didnt even have the heart to wind all the MUFC fans up that work for me, I cannot believe that I am depressed for your club, perhaps its because as a LFC fan, I almost know what you are going through after the pair of clowns that almost took us into administration a long time ago.
Wouldn't mind him at Arsenal. We lack a player with his directness and I see him complementing our team. Of all the dross in your squad, he should be one of the last you should be looking to sell, imo.
Except you need the money.
I’d want to leave if shiiiiiit like Mason Mount are being picked ahead of me for a final.

You need a no.9 before anything else. You don't have a problem creating chances, but you aren't as clinical as you ought to be. I am not sure that a wasteful/greedy wide player would improve you right now.
I guess if you make a call like choosing Mount over Garnacho, you better hope it comes off. It didn't so you expect to get pelters for it - that's just management. It was the relatively late subs and Mainoo in the last few minutes that I thought lacked any good decision making.
there was no guarantee that starting Garnacho would have made a difference and because of the loss, it's an easy argument to make. But I just feel the whole team wasn't on it and one or two staring line-up changes wouldn't have made a great difference.
We just need to get more players playing consistently better at a good level - sounds simple, but we don't have that at all. Not enough 7/10 performances or better, regardless of who they are.
