They have taken the club now to a point of no return. It's absolutely remarkable how this has been allowed to happen.

God help either of those parasites if they walked past me in the street. I genuinely wouldn't be able to hold back. 🤬

Utd came to us as a client, for a system manage inventory.

They spent millions on an ERP system so cannot afford to pay a £1000 a month subscription as they've spent their budget. They didn't even scope the system to see if it fits their requirements.

Clubs a mess.

Why haven’t you mentioned this before?

They’re treating it like a manufacturing business, when the truth is that one better player acquisition decision could have saved every one of these jobs.

Football isn’t nice near boxes and spreadsheets - they’re killing the club in order to save less money than it takes to pay one sheite player a year.

Perfectly said.

I think Ratcliffe represents an improvement on the Glazers from the point of view of actually believing sporting performance matters, and understanding that you need highly qualified sports administrators making decisions. But one thing he clearly doesn't understand is that a successful football club is a complex community, which needs all of the stakeholders (supporters, backroom staff, leadership, sporting staff) to be united and pushing in the same direction. His arrogant, autocratic manner, which betrays lack of respect and appreciation for fans and employees, has been as damaging as the cut-backs and ticket price rises.

It was reported that at a party for United employees and family members to watch the Europa final, with about 1000 in attendance, when Glazer and Ratcliffe appeared on screen there was widespread booing. Just imagine how bad they have made the morale if you are getting booed by your assembled staff during the biggest fixture in the club's recent history.

I know many people are blaming Amorim for the disappointments of this season. In what world was Amorim set up to succeed? He inherited a terribly assembled squad with perhaps the worst athletic profile in the league. He entered a broken organisation with morale at rock bottom, and whose leadership has made several interventions since he arrived to make it worse still.

It seems to me there's a significant danger that Amorim walks at this point. The best coaches are increasingly attracted to projects where they are set up to succeed, to join organisations where everyone is united behind common goals. Get rid of the Portuguese fraud? Be careful what you wish for. The problem now is that there are a lot of really well run clubs in the PL. Bring in Iraola, Glasner, Frank...? What makes anyone think they want to trade working at a well run club where they have all the support they need for United, where in all probability they'll have their career low point.

As I see it, INEOS have a very short window to learn lessons, make sure they are giving Amorim absolute backing in the transfer window and to begin to heal the deep cultural wounds in the club.

Yes I did, but was wrong. I didn't know anything about him, but knew he was a football fan, and owned Nice.
On that basis I thought he must be better than the Glazers.

I'd still rather be owned by Ratcliffe than by a corrupt autocracy that wanted the club as a trophy asset to increase the soft power of my dictatorship.

Actually I don't want us to be owned by any of the three.
I can't think of any 'good' owner.
Perhaps Manchester Council ?

This is why I have respect for you 52. At least you accept you were wrong.

At the time, even if you took the Qataris out of the picture, there was nothing I read about chemical Jim that filled me with excitement!

Anyone stating now having seen what we are seeing would rather this fella in cuckoo land.

If you think this is bad, I say to you brace yourselves Jim and Glazers are about to take us to the sunken place.

The culture within the playing and support staff must be at an all time low just now. That is understandable given performances on the pitch, the large number of redundancies that are taking place, and the senior leadership that Jim is spearheading.

That said, these are the players and staff that, collectively, have been part of decade long period of chronic underperformance and mismanagement.

I think many of us have been calling for big changes within the club. However, sneaking into the CL and Europa league each year has actually postponed a number of big changes that are required, as it gives the illusion that we are on a path of being 'nearly' back.

The defeat Spurs, while painful, may actually be a blessing in disguise. It gives the club an opportunity to conduct a ruthless approach to cutting a bloated workforce, operating costs, but more importantly cutting/selling a bloated playing staff and wage bill (and easing our immediate recruitment outstanding player recruiting debt), as we only have domestic games next season. We can then gradually build with new players and staff and hopefully rebuild a high performance and positive workplace culture.

I have no idea if Jim will succeed, but this I hope is the lowest point under his tenure, and things will start to improve.
