Yeah that’s crazy money.
But it’s ok. Liverpool don’t spend much

We've finally spend the Coutinho money
posted 1 week, 5 days ago
Just remember if we pay the full 150m it would mean he won Ballon For and we won the league and CL. Win win.
posted 1 week, 5 days ago
He must be good. But honestly I've never heard of him, let alone see him play.
That was the same for Antony as well for us.
posted 1 week, 5 days ago
He's either going to be sensational or flop of the season. There is no in-between really when you're paying those figures.
Too often we've seen these players who move for silly fees fail to live up to the transfer fee.
Coutinho, Dembele, Griezmann, Hazard, Pogba, Grealish, Enzo, Neymar (PSG), João Felix, Antony, Nunez, Sancho etc
The list of massive successes in this mega money category are few and far between.

Think you are right.
But in that list of players I'd only really put Neymar as exactly equivalent in terms of huge money, age and general high standing. And he wasn't exactly a flop but joined a bit of a mess at PSG. Wirtz will be joining a well established top team so will have every chance to succeed.

Enzo Fernandes €121.00m
Jake Greeleash €117.50m
Rice €116.60m
Moisés Caicedo €116.00m
Romelu Lukaku 113.00m

Rice cost more than Jake.
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
Those are all euros so depends on the exchange rate at the time. Arteta out here manipulating financial markets
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
In fairness, Jake was £75m plus £25 in add-ons which City paid when they won the Treble.
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
He had a good 3 months in the lead up to that treble too to be fair to him
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
Didn’t realise he’d only scored 10 goals in Bundesliga this season, 11 last season and 1 the season before
I thought he must have been hitting Harry Kane type figures but it seems not

Looks like Romano has jumped the gun a bit but fully expect this transfer to go through.
I’m absolutely made up, I think Wirtz is a superb footballer who gives us something that we don’t have and can play multiple positions.
Probably the best available player in the world this summer.

More than happy with Cherki, looking forward to comparing his progress with Wirtz this season.
posted 1 week, 4 days ago
Yeah Cherki has wonderful technique, great price too.

Can't see Jake being there next season.
I'd love to know what he's done for Pep to make him an outcast.
