It’s not a huge deal, we all play everyone twice, home and away.
And here’s a thought, whoever we play will have finished above us last season
(Unless we get a newly promoted side)
Careful what you wish for. Last year we got Leicester away which was perfect and we messed it up.
First games can be crucial to getting confidence and setting the tempo for the whole season.
Have a feeling we'll get Brentford away.
It perhaps is a bit more important with a new manager coming in.
Might help everyone if we start well and some nice fixtures would be good. Doesn't guarantee anything but at least keeps the naysayers quiet for a few weeks.

I never understand why people cry about rivals getting a promoted side first game - it's the worst possible time to play them.
What will be will be. You can get lucky in terms of who you play at a certain time in the season but there's little control over it and we can't know whether one team perceived to be an easy team to play against, might start the season on fire and be more challenging. Opposite could be said of a team perceived to be more difficult to play against.
Let's just say that I would rather do the opposite of what Ange did in his first season and have a poor spell to begin with, then finish in stronger form, something that Frank has history of at previous clubs. That way it gives you more hope going into the following season that the manager is starting to work his magic.
Just need the fanbase to remain patient should he have another one of those poor starts.
The teams we don't want to face are either City or Chelsea. With the Club World Cup in full swing, their squads will likely be far more match fit than ours if they go deep into the tournament, even if those players take a holiday once it's over. It'll hit them at the end of the campaign but you don't want them first up. They'll hit the ground running. My guess is that it'll be those two sides on top of the Prem in the first month of the season.
Doesn't matter. Have to play every team twice. A home game 3pm Saturday kick off would be nice though.
Who cares, we`ll be short squad wise and under prepared when it begins anyway, like every other season under Levy & ENIC

Like 2 seasons ago when we were unbeaten after 10 games and Ange won manager of the month twice ?

Our 10 game title challenge was a new manager bounce, we finished 5th and pathetically limped out of the cups

Being beaten by the reigning and soon to be3 times in a row champions is hardly limping out! Stick to facts
