Can’t wait for this Robb, I love the series, with each one being a very good film in its own right, whilst also following a linear pathway.

Be prepared to be shocked at how this is done. It’s honestly so ballsy
Hate horror films, can never get into them. Paranormal activity was the last one I watched and it left me on edge for weeks
Does it have much connection to the previous films Robb in terms of characters?

My daugther, who is 10, absolutely loves horror films. Don't really get why, but I have to watch them with her.
I don’t like horrors but don’t really class zombie sizzle as horror for some reason.
I still won’t say handyman three times in the mirror tho

Btw, the ending of this movie is so batshiiit crazy that it’s going to probably be a Daily Mail headline 😹
Zombie flicks are pretty entertaining but in terms of originality, once you've seen a few, you've seen them all. I'm guessing this one will cover a lot of the same ground - group of survivors find a safe haven or live in the safe haven only for it to be eventually invaded and overrun by zombies, and the main characters may or may not live at the end.

Funnily enough the 28 series doesn’t seem to focus on actual Zombies too much really, but more the effects on the characters in a now dystopian society.
Where as World War Z, which is a good film, is very much about the virus.

I liked World War Z and to be fair it did try and show a different side to things, in that it went global during a zombie pandemic, while looking for a cure. Something not really seen before. The set pieces were also well done.
If you consider my plot line above then the film is pretty much that over a series of locations.

To be honest, I don't think Boyle and Garland would have gone back to the series if they couldn't have done something a bit different with it.

Bad enough they are using them for news gathering etc these days, they aren’t meant for film production, it’s just cheapness all around, so yeah 28 years later can fack off, it’s off the list. I’m not watching on principle.
