Impressive victory for City over Juventus and their players won't have expended much energy either. They should be favourites now based on that straight forward and restful victory.

It was one of the most remarkable matches. Juventus didn't even touch the ball!!
I also think it shows how strong the PL is compared to Serie A. It was a complete non-contest.
But although Juventus didn't even touch the ball, they still had the same xG as Man City. Which goes to show that not having the ball doesn't really effect your chances of scoring. Or that xG is a useless stat. It proves that tippy tappy nonsense is completely ineffective. Man City didn't have ANY shots on goal despite their opposition not touching the ball.
Quite a coincidence that this non-event is one spurs have never in their history been able to qualify for.

I think PL teams are just so good that they basically automatically just top their groups and don't have to play any of their first or second team players to win matches.
