If a move to Liverpool was his aim, he's surely left it too late.
They can't get Ekitike and Isak can they?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently we can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From what i read at the start of the window, Liverpool could spend around 200m without risk of PSR sanctions.
That's done and more, not sure if Marmadashvilli gets included this summer or last but either way it's already over.
120-150m for Isak, plus reported 40-50m for Guehi as deals Liverpool looking to do. Either but certainly both seem to have them going well over.
Not to be insensitive but the Jota contract, possible insurance payout will have some impact but I can't imagine that's the kind of money that would cover these.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
£200m AFTER Wirtz, Frimpong, Mamardashvili, and Kerkez.
And that's before any further sales.
Cl money as group winners. Pl winners. New kit deal. Spent only 12 mil past 2 transfer windows. Already made 60 mil of sales thab jota insurance may have valued at 50 mil thats 110 mil already in.
Look like we will sell Diaz for prib 60 mil then nunez and chiesa.
Thi k we will be net 100 by end of window
The proof will be in the pudding.
IF you can find buyers for Tsimikas, Morton, Elliot, Chiesa, Doak and Nunez, Beck at decent money that covers it.
The issue with selling Diaz is, you then need to replace him as well.
Rodrygo in after Isak and Guehi?

We will bring in a lot of money in sales yet.
I love how other fans are loosing their sh!t because LFC are flexing their muscles for once.
Utd used to do this all the time under Fergie, they took other teams best players at will, Rooney, Ferdinand, Carrick, Cole, Yorke, Keane to name just a few over the years, oh and Cantona.
It's about time we started acting like the massive institution of a club that we are.
It’s not even the sales.
It may look like we’ve spent £250m, but in reality in terms of money left the bank, right now, we’ve spent about £100m.
Does that mean we’ll have far quieter windows coming up? Sure. Don’t care.
I was wondering, do Liverpool get any compensation for Jota's passing? Insurance company pays an amount of his value or something?

It is morbid and something people dont want to discuss because of sensitivity. But all players are insured as they are seen as an asset on the balance sheet.

It would be the biggest spend by any club ever in a single window by a huge margin.
290m spent.
possible further outlay of 200m.
It would eclipse the record Chelsea hold of 400m spend by 90m.
It would eclipse the current premier league no2 spot of Chelsea again by 210m.
I hope it happens just so I can watch it but it seems fanciful in the extreme that Liverpool can do this business.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
290m? Is that Euros?
In Sterling terms we have spent 250 and sold players worth 50m. Another 200 would bring us to 400 and we have more players we could possibly end up selling like Nunez, Diaz, Elliot, Tsimikas
