Sesko will start on Sunday I reckon. We apparently have two behind closed doors friendlies this week which aren't being televised.

He's a fit lad and has been training during pre season anyway.

I expect both Gyokeres and Sesko will start.

If all 3 stay fit, honestly would be looking for at least 50 between them, maybe add 10 for Bruno and maybe 10-20 for the rest of the team.

This might sound crazy compared to last season, but I feel above is more than achievable

50 *league* goals between the three of them? That's a big ask. Bruno, our most prolific attacking midfielder and best player of the post-Fergie era, has broken 15 league goals only once in five seasons. And we haven't had a centre forward who has hit 20 or more goals since RVP.

Incredibly optimistic.. for context only Liverpool and City got over 70 goals last season.

As an outsider my bet would be on Mbeumo finishing this season as your top scorer. 15-20 goals depending on whether he is taking pens or not. Sesko and Cunha to finish closer to double figures

Last season was maybe unusually low for teams who scored over 70 goals, and a fair few were in mid to high 60s range. 23/24 season, 7 were over 70 and 5 were over in 22/23 season,

Of course nothing is definite, and I get the whole settling in etc, but we should be able to create a lot more chances and finish them off if these 3 can even play to about 75% of what they are capable of. The secret of course is getting them to do that, but if we are looking for the kind of improvements that are deemed acceptable for this season, that's not an unrealistic ask. The rest of the team, of whom I expect the likes of Bruno and Amad to be main contributors, could add around 15-20, so 70 goals isn't a crazy number.

Of course, this season could be one where there are generally a lower number of goals, but if we believe we have signed a potent front 3, and are to show significant improvement this season, I expect that would manifest itself in a significant increase in goals scored.

We can always improve defensively, so ideally we want both to get better, but it would be nice to see us as a team that can score goals - most of the better teams seem capable of giving out a good hammering occasionally, I can't really remember when we last did that in the league.

Calvert Lewin going to Leeds, so we’re safe on that one now.

Well forward wise it's a case of who we can get rid of rather than who we bring in...............
