Out of sheer curiosity where you lot expect Madueke to play? I thought he was the same position as Saka but would you expect him to play on the left or through the middle with Eze left?

Madueke is a different style to Saka. Saka will always start in my opinion. I've always felt he is Arsenal's best player. Arteta now has the option to take Saka off or move him into the middle during games to allow Madueke to run at tired defenders.

Madueke is first and foremost cover for Saka. Saka missed a third of the PL season last year. However, Madueke can also play on the left, so will get enough game time. If he performs well then he may get even more.

Eze will allow Arteta to rest Declan Rice more.

Eze allows us to drop Ode if required.
Eze allows us to drop Martinelli

Madueke - Can play on the left and right.
Having him in the team or come off the bench could also allow Saka to move more central.

It's all about Options.

Not even mentioned martinelli who despite being poor is still a good player and provides a whole different dimension. Maybe even look to move him up front.
