Interesting ITK post on MolMix today.

It reckoned there is an offer for a majority takeover by an American business at the moment.

Also we are expecting 4 signings before the end of the window, with one being a high profile loan. Mendes is involved.

Most likely all drivel, but let's hope some of it is true.

So assuming Uche and Krejci come in that makes six and still the likelihood of at least one more. Made my five or six look tame and made somebody elses 2-3 look....well...

I wanted 2-3 quality players that would improve the squad, but alas, it's the same old bargain basement and going for quantity over quality.

Fosun needs to go, and the sooner the better for me.

Plus, we're paying over the odds for these players. 6m loan fee and a further 20m after a certain number of games is crazy for Krejci.

The Krejci fee is odd, no idea how he is worth 30 million. Bit concerning Girona had one of the poorest defensive records last season as well.

We needed bodies this summer though, our sauad needed serious work so no problem with a few 'squad fillers' but we do need one or two quality players also.

That said Arias and Tchatchoua are going to be starters all day and so will Krejci assuming he comes. Still expect a big loan to buy option coming in, a Mendes special.

Yeah would definitely like to see Lopez starting games if the alternative is Munetsi or Bellegarde.

Lopez to me was our best player pre season. He’ll surely play tonight and hopefully force his way into the league team.

Don’t think I’d call players of £15m to £30m as squad fillers, that’s the market we’re in. Those level of fees were enough to bring in Neves, Jota, Jimenez, Neto, Semedo, Ait Nouri etc. Writing off our new players after next to no game time, and even dissing players we haven’t yet seen at all, is pretty ridiculous to me.

Ktejci set for his medical in a deal that looks likely to be a loan initially turning permanent next year.

Also, we bought Kevin Doyle for just £6.5m

I think overall our signings are probably an improvement on some years. Everybody we have signed this time so far is going to be involved in the matchday squad. Some years we have brought a few quality guys and then a few for the future, even loaning them out.

Ornstein saying €7m loan fee with a €23m option to buy based on appearances for Krejci.

Generational talent never given a chance at Molineux.
