Some defensive errors but beyond that we didn't give up many clear chances. Scored some good goals and stayed in what was a very tough match. Not at our best and getting 3 points is good champion behaviour. Early season performances are often a bit hit and miss and very few teams will have an opposition play like that on the second game of the season.
It was one hell of a battle. There wasn't much football played really. Just full throttle war. Could have gone either way. Bruno and Burn were also lucky to stay on.
Howe's insane pressing tactics will bite him badly in the coming weeks & months.
How many players did he lose tonight?
But they probably won't play like that against everyone.
This season keeps kicking Newcastle in the bag though. At least motm Bruno defo wants to play for them.

Because nobody has been in for him???????
I'd bet you he'd also want out if the big clubs were in for him, he was fantastic tonight but he very easily couldv'e seen red.
Bit of both.
Such a difficult away game normally, let alone with the current situation.
Felt some of our players buckled under the occasion a bit, and also felt the ref was very much giving Newcastle everything.
We scored three very good goals though, and that’ll get you three points more often than not.
