Tough one for you Bears tonight, Stevie, as our horror show was last night in different ways. Still think our result was worse, if it’s any consolation. At least Brugge are a decent side, albeit that first half was a shocker. OFs are normally pretty low quality affairs, but this Sunday could set a new low bar. Words I thought I’d never type, but ‘mon the international break!
Some of the stats from that game are unreal
Brugge had 32 shots in total, 26 of which were inside the box, and a total of 16 on target
We had a total of 3 shots, all of which were from outside the box, with 1 on target
Brugge made 250 more passes than us in the final third (277 to 27)
We made 2 crosses all night
We didnt touch the ball in the Brugge ball once, Brugge had 70 touches in our box
By any standards, down to 10 men or not - thats fcking ridiculous
A very expensive mistake. There’s no way he turns this around. Sadly another season looks like it’s in the bin and it’s still August.
Could have simply signed Shankland, Mulligan and Penrice for a small outlay, lower wages and a clear improvement on Danilo, Aaron’s and Mgheuma. Instead we’ve got players on loan who have no idea what is needed and who are only ever going to be here for a year.
Will be insane if we don’t sack Martin and actually give him more money to waste. Sunday will be poison if he doesn’t get the sack, never mind embarrassing on the park/
If we could I’d be getting Gerrard in or Robinson in to replace Martin. Sign likes of Max Johnston, Ross Stewart, Kenny McLean and Andrew Irving. Rangers fans and homegrown players that will at least add some fight in to the squad, wouldn’t be players that win the title but would be immediate improvements to the starting xi and at least set the squad up for a few years.
Only manager i can remember turning a start like this around is neil lennon.
15 points behind 3 down to kilmarnock at half time in October. The rest is histroy.
Most guys dont though and his team are poor at defending
Brussell Sprout 🤣👏🏼
I hope he stays. But lucky for you guys - it’s highly possible that nobody on the Celtic payroll has managed to identify any weaknesses our current squad can exploit.
Could be the worst Rangers v Celtic game ever as DTJ suggests 🥲
I really do think that if he’d worn a suit and brogues on the sidelines, our support would have given him a little more time.
As it is, his stubborn refusal to be mentally dressed by paying fans indulging in some strange internal Ken-doll vvank fantasy will be a big part of his undoing.
From a more societal angle, that our RW traditions deny us the right to publicly acknowledge our own secksual orientations without being abused by our own, who even as they abuse us are fantasising about gargling our royal jelly, is unfortunate.
But that is the price of being a Ranger. And I pay it with Pride.
What I would have given for a Tony Bloom takeover of us instead of whatever tf this is.
Is it too outlandish to suggest that the players don't want him and that they themselves would prefer wee Barry back?
D!ck Avacado has to gtf. He can take Thelwell, Purdy and Stewart along with him. All 4 of them are not fit for purpose.
164 shots against in only 10 matches under the cants reign of terror. Only the 32 last night.
Absolute dug meat signings. And he’ll want fecking more in as well.
Not even the end of August and the season is already fooking done.
Has he no been sacked/resigned yet?

Nailed it!
They won't be able to keep him, they're going to be hounded.
They will struggle to sell Europa League tickets, the atmosphere will be toxic. He should be out today but it wouldn't be completely surprising if they tried to persevere until the international break.

We actually need more players but we can't really sign them now
They need to leave that space for the next manager so he can bring in some decent ones.
From the new signings I think a new manager in a different system should be able to get a tune out of a fair few of them.
The write offs are Slothwell and Aarons. Cut the loan short on Aarons.
Fernandez is a big dafty as well but given the money spent we need to try and develop him. Djiga has looked decent and horrific but given the CB situation we have to keep him.
Aasgaard, Antman and Gassama could all be really good under a competent manager. Meghoma looks alright and given he's the only LB we have to keep him on loan.
Moore may be a top talent but we've got wingers, not fair on him to keep him around when we need to develop our own players, Gassama, Antman, Curtis, Cortes, also Aasgard and Bajrami can play there.
For the battle that lies ahead we need a man of true substance and tradition. We demand that the post of manager of Glasgow Rangers be capable of leading us toward victory with his head held high, upholding the standards laid down before him by the men who have carried this club to the position of most successful football team in the world.
A true Ranger cannot survive on Quorn alone. Woke vegan ideologies have no place in the home dugout.
Bill Struth didn’t drown William Wilton for nothing. The sacred office must be upheld and protected.

Cortes and Bajrami are being linked with loan moves, ideal for Cortes as he needs games. For Bajrami likely a case of giving him a platform to impress and get money back.
A left centre half, left back and striker are still priority. A proper creative centre mid as well. Miovski and a loan will do for now, but still leaves us short if Dessers also goes.
Hell of a job they’ll have next summer replacing all the loans and out of contract players

So on Sunday we have Ralston Vs Aaron's
Idah Vs Danilo
Yang Vs Antman
Nygren Vs aasgard
Awful stuff from both teams .
I suspect it will have goals at least
So much wrong about the current regime and the way they have gone about creating this mess.
Once Igamane is confirmed we will have made a net profit on player trading this summer. So there should still be the best part of £20m to spend.
It would be reckless to give it to Martin who should have been carted off the minute he said ‘Keiran Dowell is a terrific footballer’.
Everybody is saying it because it’s so blooming obvious but we should have build a spine of a team. A gk (although Butland has been on the whole terrific) two cbs, two cms and a cf. spend the big bucks on those guys and build the rest around them.
Absolutely missed a trick with Shankland and Mulligan on frees to add to the squad instead of all these daft loans. These guys fifa rankings might not be as high as some but they would have given their all at every opportunity.
Gassama and Anyman are decent additions and will go on to do well with us if we can get a decent manager in who can sort the mood of the camp out.
Starting last night without Tavs, Raskin or diomande was criminal. They might not be having great season but they are proven at the European level for rangers.
Aaron’s is just an embarrassment of a footballer. Whoever thought he had the cojones go play for Rangers is deluded. Oh, aye Martin.
There is clearly unrest in the camp and the players clearly aren’t behind Martin and the suicide tactics.
Tavs interview post match was very telling. He was absolutely floundering when asked if yhe players were behind the manager.
Just say ‘No’ Tavs.
