Villa landed Harvey Elliot and Sancho.
And still gave us the b * itch slap re Buendia.
Private jet from Sheffield to Leeds booked yet ???
We can't do January windows so we can keep
our money ready for summer. Then we fck that up.
Money issues must be worse than thought.
Everything aside, if we do happen to land Harry Wilson,
I'll selfishly be very happy to see him in a Leeds shirt.

Solomon can unlock defences and might be able to move inside if required, but him coming might mean we lose Willie.
--------------------------------
Solomon could unlock Championship defences, not so convinced - and nor seemingly are Spurs - that he has that ability in the Prem. I maybe a lone voice, but not sure he's the answer.
Feels like we're rummaging through the dregs at the end of a window, when all the good stuff has been taken, hoping to find a gem that everyone else has missed.
Still a few hours to go - happy to be pleasantly surprised.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By age of 21, he’d already had two seasons in the champions League.
Scoring a winner against Atalanta, winner against real madrid, scoring away at man city to earn a point, and also scoring in another Real Madrid win.
He then went to fulham, and once settled ( he’d just literally left a war torn country, where his club was smack bang in the firing line) scored in five consecutive games four in the prem.
Started the following season at spurs, starting well, until got bad injury.
We would never have signed him if hadnt had that injury. And lets be honest, once fully, he was outstanding for us.
Not sure where this idea, he’s not capable of playing in the prem comes from 🤷🏻♂️
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was happy when we got him last season, i'd watched him several times when he played in previous seasons - I do like the guy. But don't know, just not convinced he's quite what we need (that said more proven than Okafor - and started ahead of Willie G more often last season), so I'm aware I could be wrong.
Solomon, Buendia, Smith, Jones .... whoever .... I'd just like to see a couple bits of business that give us more in attack. Going to be a long old season if we can't get more in. Hard working, stifling opposition will get us so far in the prem.
We may be looking at the free agents list come tomorrow
So now our ever increasingly shrinking list of targets is down to Harry Wilson ( yes please but not holding my breath) A young talented Anderlect kid no one has heard of before today and the Sheffield Messi sponsored by KFC.

Maybe so but who is left for us to get who is available 🤔
Think Wilson is good enough. Strong set piece taker as well.
None of us have any idea what's going on behind the scenes although I suspect it's a combination of chaos calamity and a complete coque up by those in charge and I actually hope it is this because okay the intended targets failed and we can debate why etc but what I
hope it isn't is what I always worry about an ownership
model that has numerous investors to keep happy and
that our owners have deliberately gone for players they
knew they would fail to capture and it's just a show so as
to keep the spending down and keep the investors
happy...and to Hell with the Leeds supporters, they're a
secondary worry, we can fob them off with the "we tried our best" spin and bs???
Marathe obviously expected more signings given his comments before Everton game. He obviously was confident. So clearly not going to plan.
Whether that's because Underwood is incompetent, Marathe is too tight, or bad luck we don't know. But unless something changes in the next few hours this has been a terrible end to the window.
As the great Mike Tyson once said
“Everybody has a plan until they get punched
in the mouth".
We had a plan toward the end of last season.
And then smack, right in the mouth.
Don't shoot the messenger but sorry guys there is a lot of noise on social media that that's it, no new signings today....probably a free agent like Oxlaid Chamberlain will be our final new player to add to the squad tomorrow or soon after. If true then I think the owners have some serious questions to answer.

I don't see why the ownership model would justify us getting relegated and them needing to sell for the fraction of the price that they would if we stayed up and established ourselves at this level
It’s going to be a season of hammerings by the better teams and West Brom games from last season, getting 0-0 draws and hopefully nicking one.
Bought our way out of the Champo to be paupers in the Prem. Oh well. Not really that surprised TBH.

Me neither lubo but maybe after the impressive performance against Newcastle they think we have enough and will reassess in January but also they're planning on an exit strategy to flip the club around that time while we still in the EPL but either way they're playing Russian Roulette with our survival chances and for their intent is questionable as they don't seem to be willing to go above and beyond and I'm not convinced the approaches for Muniz and Paixou were anything more than smoke and mirrors to give the opposite impression they were trying their best because by all accounts Villa would only sell Buendia for £20 million and Leeds only wanted a loan deal so again if true it's not good enough in my opinion but we'll see how the team goes on which if our strongest 11 can stay fit is capable of keeping us up... just.. but we all fear injuries scuppering our chances... hence the Russian Roulette analogy.
