2) Sesko - Was praying we don’t end up with him. An absolute horror of a striker. He will do worse than Hojlund, if that is even possible.

James Trafford, surely? Flopped so badly he was replaced by a new signing after three games.

Gyokeres, Gyokeres, and Gyokeres would be mine.
Looks trash.
posted 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Gyokeres - probably a good player but needs the right system, not sure if Arsenal is that
Sesko - I agree. Since Haaland came through noticed a trend for any young tall fast Caucasian striker to get hyped up despite a bang average goal record. The funny thing is United were the last people to fall for this trick with Hojlund
Woltemade - seems an intriguing player but cost soo much for someone who’s just had one breakout season and again not best stats
Wissa will never be a superstar but actually suits Newcastle when you deep it. They needed someone, anyone , to replace Isak after so many rejected them. He will suit them to ‘tide’ over maybe get 15 goals or something and then they may choose to improve next summer. And he wasn’t actually that much in this market.
posted 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Oh and Mbeumo. I think he’s a good player but again , a flop is about expectation and price and I don’t think he’s THAT guy United would be wanting. I think Brentford suited him well. Decent movement, on pens, he was the one they looked for. Individually I don’t think he has much on his peers in terms of athleticism or on the ball ability to make openings for himself.

He'll get plenty of games as we're still in 4 competitions and he'll learn from the best in the World.
Always interesting to hear what United fans have to say about goalkeepers. though.
posted 3 weeks, 1 day ago
Yeah, he’ll probably get ten more games after flopping so fast he was replaced after three.
It should interest you, we know and a good one and a shiiiiit one when we see one.
Gittens - but we probably get a decent chunk back for him
Donnarumma to the cheats will be a massive flop.
He's at least ten years older than he claims as well

I don’t think he will be a flop , but he’s probably not as good as people seem to rate him as. Think he will be effective. Gyokeres I think will struggle, and I think perhaps even isak might at Liverpool, he’s certainly got the talent, but will he fit?!

You didn’t mention price in the description.
Woltermade feels a ready made flop, a desperation signing, but couldnt be proven wrong. Wissa yeah was a lot of money but a good player.
Xavi Simons always looked a bit too lightweight for the PL.
Wirtz you would think would come good, I feel like he might become like Ozil did - clearly a very good player but never quite hit the heights we wanted for him.
Gittens, Sancho, Delap - feel like these are all not really top level players

Have you seen how many chances Nunez used to miss? cant see Isak being that wasteful.
I dont think its wise to predict any so soon, but if i had to based on the lil knowledge we know it would be someone like gyokeres. Cause atm Arsenal will have to change system and be more brave and attacking. Might not be a bad player or have bad stats just never really fit i, similar to situation to Nunez at liverpool.

It might also be that Gyokeres was bought more for the 'easier' teams that we struggled against last season rather than the big games (in fact I don't think we lost vs the big 4/6 last season)
Looking at some of our results - 1-1 vs Fulham, 0-0 vs Everton, 0-0 vs Forest, 1-1 vs Man U, 1-1 vs Everton, 1-1 vs Brentford, 0-1 vs West Ham - to drop that amount of points against that lot is screaming out for a player who just takes his chance. Whether thats Gyokeres or not though time will tell.
