Romano reporting we will be signing a midfielder in January.

I'd defer to other posters who have a better tactical eye, and I have given up predicting which players can break through to the senior team. But I'd see Lacey as a 10/inside forward rather than a wing-back. He's a great dribbler and can cut inside and shoot. Not a physical beast (at this point)... ideally, I think Amorim would like every player to be a formidable athlete, but that's particularly important at WB. One of the reasons Dalot gets the nod ahead of Amad fairly frequently.

Lacey looks more like an old fashioned winger to me. A dying breed.

He looks like Foden.
