One of the players that has done well after being recalled to the team in recent weeks is Matt Doherty. He has evidently now broken his wrist which required surgery and he is likely to be unavailable for the next month.

Going for a 1-1.
Tighter defence and also we have found the net.

That is very bad news

“He has evidently now broken his wrist”

Can we not stop with this shat? It’s gone beyond tedious.

Krejci has been voted Wolves player of the month for September. Looks a really good player and comfortable in defence and midfield.

Toti has flu. JSL is training but still not 100%.

Doherty has had surgery on his wrist (broken back in August apparently) will be out for Sunday. Guess he misses the internationals too.

Ireland are aware of Doherty’s injury and haven’t selected him in their international squad as a result

The psr sustainability rules are set to be changed. The current rules mean clubs can make a loss of £105m over three years. But the new scheme will mean a club can spend up to a maximum % of their income. If they copy uefa it will be 70% but the Premier League may allow a higher amount of maybe 85%

When I first glanced at this I just saw Doherty - broken back.

Enso Gonzalez played for Paraguay against Korea today in the U20 World Cup. The game ended 0-0 and Enso got a straight red card close to the end of the first half.

1-1 if we are lucky

Pity we can't discuss tactics, selection and formation without the conversation descending in to petty point scoring and ridicule

Wolves have twice had memorable 4-3 home wins against Leicester and the u21s beat them by that scoreline last night. They were 3-1 down at one stage before coming back to get a last minute winner.

I see Cunha has been dropped from Man Utd's starting 11. Oh dear!

posted 4 days, 5 hours ago

Anyone care to predict a starting 11? Here's mine:

Johnstone
Tchatchoua
Santiago
Krejci
Toti
Andre
Joao
Hugo
Munetsi
Arias
Larsen

Not too confident about that though.

Think that is quite likely unless I am missing any recent injuries. Could be Arokodare for JSL as he is alleged to be struggling

posted 4 days, 4 hours ago

I think there’s every chance that will be the team. I suspect Larsen will start with Arokidare coming on for the last 20 minutes.

Could be Toti or Agbadou in defence. Suppose it might be Bellegarde instead of Munetsi.
