Anyone any idea why Daka is starting???
I know we missed a few chances on Saturday, but starting one of our worst players of all time is beyond me.
Rather strange team selection all round.
Seems bit negative.

I’m guessing Mavi is injured and is, therefore, not included anywhere. I should have gone there tonight as it’s literally across the river from me. FM on the local network (I think) will have to do.

Not much information about anywhere pre match
About anything

Excellent start

All possession as usual,no end product.
Losing one nil,Daka offering nothing.
We are just not improving anywhere on the pitch.

Two nil down, absolute awful display, they are not even a good team.

Ref having an awful game, denied us an obvious hand ball, and seems to be giving Hull as much help as he can.

Everything is awful

That's the worst half of football this season, absolutely shocking. Booed off the pitch. Marti needs to make some changes pronto

It sounds like Hull got away with a penalty decision against them just now.

2nd half. Was better but too late
Overall very poor

Better second half, but have to blame manager, started with a poor selection improvement in second half, but too late.
Lose on Saturday and manager will be under pressure

Much better second half with the changes. Left themselves with too much to do. Don't think it was a peno if it was the foul on Fatawu you're talking about

I guess this is a reply to what I mentioned. The commentary team (both very pro-Hull) thought it was a penalty. I’ve no idea who was fouled.

It was a response. If it was the Fatawu foul it was right in front of me, it looked like he went down without much contact which is presumably what the ref thought. It was one of those which wouldn't have been a surprise if given. Of course no VAR to overrule the ref in the Championship (Hooray in general but it may have been useful last night!).

The early season optimism that we might be OK this season for at least a play off push is starting to fade pretty quickly, as is my hope that Cifuentes would be a good fit.
The squad is giving late Micky Adams era vibes at the moment - a bunch of older players who are no longer good enough for the Premier League despite them clearly believing they are, struggling to adapt or get motivated for a long season in the Championship. The same players who have let us down in 2 of the last 3 seasons are still letting us down now.
It is starting to feel like it's going to be a long hard slog of a season, likely ending with mid-table mediocrity and a hugely needed and long overdue clear out at the end of the season. Bar Fatawu, Ricardo and Monga, and a couple of the loanees, there's nobody in this squad who I'd be sad to see leave.
I see that Foxestalk has already turned on Marti. TBH I'm not convinced by him so far - he speaks well but his team selections are baffling a lot of the time. But there's no point in just sacking managers every 6 months - at some point we have to deal with the cause of our decline, not just the symptoms. And the cause is Top, Rudkin, King Power, et al - until they are gone, we are just going to keep failing and falling.

Trying to compete in any league without having a recognised goal scorer is about as ludicrous as it gets. If they are unable to recruit one in January, a relegation battle is more likely than a push for a play off spot, even ignoring the prospect of any points deduction.
