I’m not saying Ange shouldn’t have been sacked and really he probably shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place but just asking the question here, is it at all reasonable to say he didn’t get enough time? I ask that just to point out the situation with Iraola who went through something similar when he started at Bournemouth and even I was surprised they didn’t sack him at the time during those first weeks, yet they stuck with him and look at how well Bournemouth are doing under him

I think normally you would want to give them more time, and I do feel some of the positives with Ange were being overlooked!

But the whole energy around him and the fans/media was toxic and only getting worse it was becoming almost possible to see how it would improve so getting rid before too much damage is done was the right move

Add Ruben Amorin to the list. United are now looking pretty decent.

I know I moaned about the (not given) foul on Sels for their first, but there is no doubt who the better team has been and they deserve their 2-0 lead

We not been a threat at all and given the ball away far to easily, even taking into account how good they are at pressing and harassing us, we must to better

No doubt about it, Bournemouth are well drilled and are playing at their very best. We need to do something different if we want a different outcome to this game.

The problem seems to be, playing 2 in midfield in Dougie and Anderson, doesn’t seem to give us a platform to move forward, we are constantly trying to stop them playing, with little thought of us getting an attack, hopefully a change or two at either half time or early in the second half. We currently offer absolutely nothing in the final third.

Triple change, Yates, Awoniyi and Hutchinson on

Trouble is, Bournemouth are just better than us.

More purpose from us in this second half. The subs have had an impact.

Agree more purpose, but zero threat.

Good effort on target by MGW, decent save, at last a threat on goal, then put the corer straight out of play for a goal kick.

We’ve scored one goal in the last Seven games, Williams at Burnley, that is a very worrying factor.
Today is yet another poor disjointed performance with little or no threat on the Muff goal, and less than convincing defensively.
Dyche really does have his work cut out.

Best news for us, no mid week game gives Dyche value time on the training ground with the lads

Burnley winning at Wolves hasn't helped my mood!

Man U at home next, wouldn’t normally ring alarm bells, but they’ve now won four on the bounce, and are scoring goals.
Our goal difference is -12 and we can’t score goals, in reality I don’t see us getting from that game either.
Fulham are the next team above us by 3 points and are at home to Wolves next week, we could be 5 points adrift with an inferior goal difference.
As things stand it’s difficult to find any positives.

It was a mistake to play the same team from Thursday imo thought that before the K.O.

Much as i like Taiwo, he is not the answer to our goal scoring problems. Surely it must be worth giving Kalimuendo a try, mainly because we have nothing to lose, assuming Wood is not available, something of a theme when he comes back from International duty recently.
