The more replays you see of Trusty's kick on Butland, the clearer a red it is. He knew it himself and got away with it.

Its probably more of a talking point due to the fact hes already dished out a red

For me it was daft and im relieved he only seen yellow

From a few angles ir doesnt look much but you never know what thr refs percieve has went on

Btw Trusty has been outatanding as well

Trusty has been excellent which makes it all the worse that Brendan chose not to play him at tynecastle

Tounetki flatters to deceive at times gets in great positions but never quite executes properly

Doesn't have to have force to be violent conduct, has to be excessive force for a sending off under different rules.

In simple terms, his boot doesn't hit his head if he doesn't put it there deliberately....thats exactly what he has done, he has intentionally made contact with his head with his boot when he's not even challenging for the ball.

It wont ever be a red card for excessive force.
It certainly can be a red card for violent conduct....because you don't even have to make contact to be sent off under that rule, you just have to make the action, and that's what he done

It's a stick on red. Butland has the ball under control before Trusty even starts to kick out, and he specifically aims the kick at his head. Stick on red.

Celtic have been the better team and we deserve to be behind, but anyone thinking Trusty should still be on the pitch is at it.

This was a petulant kick out to a GKs head when the ball was already in his arms....completely different
