Spurtle - when they're playing in their normal position for starters. To say that as a group they need to improve is stating the obvious anyway really - they're kids. They can only improve, and if they don't.. well ask Bassong

It's a bit worrying that our second string don't look like beating anyone. League cup or Europa, we can't defend or attack well.

He's ineligble due to some technicality - been out on loan so much he hasn't played for the club long enough

You do realise that ....

1........that wasnt our 2nd team more a mixture of youth and players coming back from injury

2.........This lot beat Barca AWAY a year or so back

3. We had inexperienced wingers as full-backs

..and was disapointed with the second

I was also looking forward to seeing Pritchard RDBD
but hey-ho - we will still qualify for the round of 32, so its no great shakes just a shame we didnt see any of the kids shine in this one, although i am still a big fan of Carroll and was hoping Townsend would impress.

Personally i would play a much stronger side in the last 2 games so we can secure our place. Some people might not want the Europa but i do. I'm sorry but a cup is a cup and regardless of the champions league being better i want to win the Europa. Unfortunately we won't get anywhere with this 2nd string side ( not there fault) ...... I personally would mix up a few young players in our next game but play mostly 1st teamers... A team like this....

How can one WUM today ??

Kids played out of position +/-r with team mates competitively for the first time. Goalie doing his job. Bassong being Bassong (ministry of the bleeding obvious) .

why do People find Pienaar irritating? I tell you what i have noticed about him. No delivery at all......Looks really gd on the ball and beats players and you think were onto something and either he takes to long on the ball and loses it or Misplaces a bad pass........or when he should shoot he farts around with it.
