Not every cricket nation is in agreement with it, which is fair enough, so until they can produce something which is consistent it won;t be used everywhere. Shame as i am for it, but it's fair enough that not everyone is. there's a lot of work to be done on it i think before we can truly rely on it.

"The you get the undercard series (pakistan and sri lanka) and there is no DRS."

I think I saw a Pakistan batsman take DRS against Sri Lanka this series. I could be wrong though.

I thought the same Swat, but think it wasn't used as have read quotes from both captains saying they would be in favour of it after a few odd LBW decisions. Could be wrong though.

I am sure Pak or Lankan fans would know better. I for one would love to see DRS in all cricket matches at international level.

schoolboy error on my first article!

Did some research and found that the SRi Lanka series does have DRS sponsored by Pepsi.

There's nothing to be sorry abt ManCity..
Even if mistakenly, you made a good point that DRS use should be consistent everywhere. Either have it everywhere, or don't have it at all.

Man city,

DRS was not used for the tests between lanka and pakistan.
It is being used in the ODI series, but personally I think what is the point of this. Usually you have 2 reviews per team per innings, however, for this series in particular (not sure why!!) teams are only allowed ONE review per innings. If your going to use the damn thing then make use of it properly.

I would think that it isn't being used for the Test series because of cost, as now they have got a sponser for the 1 day series, cost isn't an issue.

In other Test series in the past - DRS hasn't been used because of the cost to the home cricketing board.
