it's a home game first and foremost,so we should ALWAYS be looking for 3 points.....



thing's to look out for from villa......

1.hutton,jenas to have BLINDERS.....

2.scare's from EVERY villa set play......

3.n'zogbia to have his FIRST great game for them......

4.someone to score a WORLDY for them.....

I will be one of those travelling down monday night. I dont expect to be coming home following a villa win (but you do it for the craic and maybe, just maybe).
We do have very vocal away support. We love winding the opposition fans up. Home support has been generally poor and we do only tend to ' sing when we're winning (like most home support I have witnessed). Its all very lively at the start however, if a goal does not come in the first 15 minutes, things go quiet (again, like most home support I have witnessed on away travels).
We have a few players that could hurt you (it is the premiership) although, I doubt we have enough to take a win. Spurs have more players that seem very comfortable on the ball and are more entertaining at the mo.
A win, I think is beyond us. A draw is possible yet, to get that we will have to attack at some point. We are only just showing signs of getting our act together on that whereas, spurs have a longer established front line that have that little extra quality.
Here's to a good game and hope that this time I am not approached by a very brave bunch of drunk men asking a lone villa fan 'where his boys were'

Just found out who the ref is for Monday night. Mark Halsey. Not a fan off his. Very picky and does not seem to allow a game to flow.
I dont think he has much affection for the villa either. This is a game I can see being decided on either a big wrong decision or none decision, from probably one of the poorest refs around imho.
Not to take anything away from either side. I think spurs have a little too much for us. I have a big fear about us getting a dubious penalty given against and a dead cert for us being declined.
Hope he doesn't ruin what should be a good game.
