It's hazsa.
I'm not having a go at them for changing venue. Neither did I ever say I supported the invasion of Afghanistan, though I think you may have got it confused with the Iraq invasion???
I'm just sick of playing Pakistan. I can't take them seriously. I don't want to play them, especially in a soulless, empty, stadium.
If they were playing in Pakistan my interest would be marginally higher.

Fair enough.... I do agree though that the stadiums will be empty-ish.... But thats the way it is across all countries, exceptions = england and aussies maybe? I suspect that there will be alot of english support out there, however.
But Hazsa you said that you don't wanna see England play in Pak either? Is it about spot fixing?
It's about a lack of respect and i'm sick of it, whether it be in Pakistan or the UAE.
What lack of respect? You are not really clarifying anything here?
Lack of respect between players? Not sure what your getting at here.....
you sure, you just dont want an ease ride Hazsa...... Dont think you'll face dolly-bowlers for a while yet.
Well let me see. Pirouettes in the middle of a pitch, spot fixing, walking off the field during a Test Match, accusing England of cheating, AFTER we went out of our way to host Pakistan games in England.
Sick of it.

I think everyone had a problem with SA, time heals wounds.
I don't want to play Pakistan this soon, especially in the UAE, which will be soulless and boring. The accumulation of controversy just makes me dread the thought of playing Pakistan even more.
Perhaps i'm not eloquent enough to explain my feelings. It's just my gut feeling when I think of playing Pakistan.
No worries Hazsa, no point arguing over it. Hopefully when the series starts you will be looking forward to seeing England showing the world why they are the best team in the world.
I haven't read all the comments but it was mentioned cricket is on the decline in OZ....I don't think the series against N-Z is much of a guide...
The test series against India is getting loads of press coverage and the fact that it's Tendulkar last visit (well more then likely) will bring people out of there arm chairs plus the elusive century required, Sachin will need nerves of steel when/if he reaches the nervous 90's in front of an Aussie crowd.
The fact there will be empty seats doesn't mean the crowds are on decline because the grounds hold between 30 - 100,000 depending on the city, plus a lot of people get out of the city for the coastal waters on holidays and sit back with a beer trying to find the right position for the arial on the portable telly....
how will it get so much hype in january...... the stadiums have barely seen any people. most of the matches we will see will either be a draw, because we all know how slow pakistanis bat. the only reoson why anyone would be interested in it would be to see how england performs. otherwise empty stadiums + slow batting will be so boring to watch
