They will need to play a lot better than they have this series

Wouldn't you be just a little bit more proud of an England team if they were in fact born there............
I really can't see how you can stand on your high horse when the team is stacked....

We have all heard the rubbish excuses of this & that, bottom line is this England team are not a true English team.
Cheers.

No-one said anything about being smart and supporting a half English half South African side.......if this team makes you feel proud to be a pommie then good on you.....I just find it hard to see how you can get all excited that's all....cheers
especially when they interview the players with the accents an all...hilarious.

Ha! Ha! Ha!.......my side might not be on top of the world but at least they are Aussie and I can be proud to support them and when it's time for the team to go home they are all together back in OZ and not have half in South Africa and the other half in dreary England....Just like how Murray next week will be a Scotsman instead of British.....Ha! Ha! Ha! you blokes crack me up.......LOL

Quite possible for them to become No1 this year. There will always be competition for that spot. Though I don't see Ind/SA/Eng being as dominant as the Aussies were.

Southsydney, our top run scorer in the ashes was english, as was our top wicket taker, maybe your just bitter about them leaving SA and coming here instead of Aus, because we know that cricket australia would turn these guys away if they rocked up on your shores and forged succesful enough careers to be considered for the Aus team. Tell Usman Khawaja to sling his hook....

Lacy old mate......have you heard Khawaja talk........then go and listen to half of your team and then tell me who is what and when......close your eyes and you would swear your in Cape Town.......but don't you go worrying about it, if your proud of your half S/African half England team then so be it, walk around with your chest out singing Rule Brittania until the cows come home for all I care......just don't complain that no English juniors are coming through in years to come that's all. English as in real English with a pommie accent an all.....cheers

might be worth having a look through the history books at the oz rugby league and union teams - wonder how many none oz born players have pulled on the gold and green in those 2 sport, never stopped the you lot banging on about how great they are.

The England team are a side of winners no matter where they come from. Their organisation used the raw material at their disposal to make a side and I dont think that anyone can blame them for picking the best players available.

It shows how poor the development was for English schoolkids that so many of the side grew up in other countries. I hope that the ECB are learing lessons as all this foreign talent they have harnessed will not keep on coming forever.
