i know this was united that were involved but the roy carroll incident against spurs was very funny
There was one where the German keeper (Harald Schumacher) took out a french player with a Cantona esque kick to the midriff. See below.
at 1982 World CupSchumacher was involved in a collision with a French defender, substitute Patrick Battiston, in the semi-final of the 1982 World Cup. Battiston approached the net alone after a through ball from Michel Platini, and fired off a shot wide of the net. Instead of trying to defend the shot, Schumacher appeared to jump directly at Battiston, and collided with him in mid-air.[1] Battiston was knocked unconscious, and later slipped into a coma.[2] He also lost his two front teeth and had a damaged vertebra. He received oxygen on the pitch.[3] Michel Platini later said that he thought that Battiston had died, because "he had no pulse and looked pale".[4] The Dutch referee Charles Corver did not rule a penalty on the play. Schumacher then proceeded to take the goal-kick and play resumed.[5] Germany would eventually go on to win the game on penalty kicks after the match was tied at 3–3.
Pedro Mendes for Spurs when Roy Carrol fished it out of the back of the net but the ref chose to ignore it.

Was that the "Fergie time" where City could have won the game if they had scored?
no,no,no vidicschin didnt you know that when injury time is added to a game, only united are allowed to score in that time not the other team! silly, silly you.
albooney

I still can't believe that the idiot Boris is still upset about it.
I mean, afterall, SSN stated thet the time added on was correct, and City actually had the momentum going into it, having just scored.
That Klinsman dive quality..with the after reaction Basquets and co would be proud of.

I saw that live
Possibly the most disgusting challenge I ever saw. I was gobsmacked at the sheer sheer intent to do the man damage
Truly shocking
Boris
I understand why you're annoyed we scored a minute and a half after the 4 minutes but even now City fans can;t seem to accept that the ref had no option but to add on time for the City celebration and the substitutions.
It wasn't cheating and United were not winning the game at the time
If anything, City should have had the momentum having just scored themselves. For me, for United to hit back immediatley was a credit to them.
Fab equaliser from City though

I agree. How on earth the ref deemed it was not a foul is beyond belief.
Klinsmanns' dive was a shocker but let's have a look at the master-

enough city WUMs, we all know you're bitter. go inflate a banana.
What about Lampard's goal that never stood against Germany in the last world cup . Even though England were outplayed in that match, that goal was such a big deal because it invloved England.
Number 2 in the 50 most shocking decisions in a world cup , there you have it, if it invloves England and its a bad decision, the whole world must know about it because England are special.
As for the hand of god incident, I was in a Porta Cabin at Port Stanley in the Falklands listening to that game on BBC World Service.
As you can imagine, I was not chuffed with the Argies in the first place for being stuck at the rear end of humanity, which is the Falklands.
Port Stanley can only be likened to being stuck on Dartmoor in 90 mile an hour wind.

Dear oh dear, the bitterness runs deep here. Only one of these incidents actually involvers the Berties and that was proven to be a correct decision.
