He's young, give the kid a break.
Further proof that the pressure is getting to the Indians. Sticking up his middle finger isn’t going to pick up any aussie wickets, nor will it help him and his team-mates to amass runs on the scoreboard. If he thinks that’s bad, I’d like to see him field on the boundary at Headingly in front of the west stand……

guys u shud give him credit there. no one put their hands up in the match, atleast he put his fingers up. but frankly speaking as dravid said in press conference, that it would be very hard to draw this test match and so they are not thinking about that atm, and just playing freely
either he is the first cricketer to be abused this way, or he is lying. Simple!
its clear frustation..... you know he is used to staying on the field for a max of 3 and a half hours or less but here he has stayed for almost 2 days, with nothing happening, so a small thing the crowd does would have frustrated them off
I am actually getting sick of this guy. First he acted like an idiot after he was given out LBW.. now this.
This is where my respect for Sachin grows even stronger. Virat needs a watch and learn.
In all fairness to the guy, its not easy to ignore things being said about your family or race - and the aussie crowds are known to go a bit OTT at times. That said, he should have turned a blind eye and taken it on the chin.
The saffers and English players have experienced similar or worse in auss, as highlighted in the article below.

In football its a match ban and a hefty fine like Suarez.
