I have no knowledge about this. Eurasian lynk sounds stronger though.

eurasian lynx is the biggest species of lynx...big individuals can get upto 6 stone in weight..

a little smaller than a big german shepherd dog..

but in a fight between a similar sized cat and dog..(excluding the cheetah) my ££ is always on the cat..

more powerful, athletic and better armed than their canine counterparts

only advantage a dog has over a cat is better stamina

thats my theory anyways .

i watch loads of nat geo and discovery, eden, etc...

i have a fascination with big cat square offs..

the lion v tiger debate is ageless....and there are so many opinions on it..

the roman amphitheater is where it actually took place regularly though..

however, those tigers where almost certainly the now extinct caspian sub species, and the lions used were european lions !! (still living in spain until the time of christ and in the mountains of greece until the 12 C AD ), now ofcourse also extinct

accounts indicate the tiger usually won

A tiger would rip a lion in half imo.

Jaguar or a Grizzly Bear?

grizzly bear. although the jaguar would put up a good fight. it's faster and cleverer. but the bear would just bellyflop on it.
