Big game Tuesday X. In a way I'm sort of glad Paolo won't be on the bench as it could really kick off with Evans. He comes across as a real ignorant little man who is just as interested in causing trouble than anything else. A win for us like you say will put us in a great position and with the games coming thick and fast it's important that we cement a top three spot before the final run in. Having a strong squad should help us with the amount of games and could make all the difference. Think Tuesady will be a tricky game and I hope we don't rise to Crawleys underhand tactics of trying to bully us, we have managed to stay focused against some nasty teams already so dont think our players will let Evans and his team get to us.
Would love to send Crawley home with nothing and if we play to our strengths that's what will happen. I've got us down for a 2-1 win.
Agree with everything said...a big game both for the points at stake and psychologically too. Fatty Evans is the most disliked man in League 2, we can't all be wrong! I was away on holiday the last 2 weeks and was talking to a Cheltenham fan after the fracas between SE and Mark Yates, SE kicked it off by making derogatory remarks about Cheltenham being a small club! The man is a moron. But I believe what goes round comes round over the season. A win tomorrow would be brilliant.
We have the advantage over others in the top 6 in that we have played 3 more away games than home. If we take good advantage of our rearranged home games we could be looking good. Also a lot of the clubs round us are playing each other this month. The gap between first and sixth place has narrowed, no-one looks like running away with it and without being arrogant I feel that we have every reason to be confident.

If we lose this one, it's not all over. If we win, then we are on course.
They are a good side, whatever you think of their manager.
I agree that they're a good side...the table doesn't lie and they've performed well in the FA Cup. Yes, there's a long way to go yet. Their manager is an undisputed plonker but that's a side issue. If we end up in the top 3 at the end of the season I'll be happy. If they're in the top 3 too I won't have a problem.
Don,
I have no doubt that Crawley fans think that our manager is a plonker. Their fat git has done well for them.
A good pitch, under floodlights should show which has the better footballers.
Now, I don't know how it will turn out, but hope for the best!
Much like us unless Crawley have a real down turn in form they are looking good for promotion. They have surprised me this season by being in the top three for pretty much most of it and I have been expecting them to fall away considering there is a lot of bigger clubs than them wanting out. Evans has done a good job with them and I have nothing against the club I just don't like the way their manager goes about things now or at previous clubs. We have looked really solid at home after our indifferent start and i won't be pressing the panic button if we don't get all three points tomorrow night but a win will send out a real strong message to Crawley and the other clubs at the top that we mean business.

Most players we have shown interest in do well against us so not sorry Tubbs has left them, one less goal scorer to worry about although they obviously are doing ok without him. At least Crawley should come at us and not park the bus and that has often worked in our favour, expecting them to play continuous long balls up to their strikers so our defence need to be as good as ever.

3-0 with a few minutes to go....once again coming to the party in a big match. We look unstoppable!!! Good to see Bodin on the scoresheet again. Didn't we do well when PDC was in the stands last time as well?
