Basically, because chelsea are a small club that nobody gives two hoots about. You should take it as a complement.

Taken from my recent article and highlights how crap the press are:

The case where a few years ago, a teacher was charged for insulting Islam when she named a teddy bear Mohammed in Sudan. She was originally subjected to 6 months in prison and 40 lashes. There was uproar here, saying that it would be ridiculous to punish somebody for cultural unawareness, and the sentence was reduced to 15 days in prison, a massive reduction down to the culprit's ignorance.

Interesting quotes:

Mr Miliband said he was "extremely disappointed" the charges had not been dismissed and repeated his view that it had been an "innocent misunderstanding by a dedicated teacher"(...)

Meanwhile, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams said he could not "see any justification" for the sentence, calling it an "absurdly disproportionate response" to a "minor cultural faux pas".

Compare this then to the reaction towards a minor cultural faux pas in this country, probably not quite as offensive culturally as the Mohamed verdict in Sudan yet we still as a nation want Suarez' blood. No leniency towards him has been shown yet we claim we are a tolerant country. Are we tolerant?

On this evidence, certainly not. Sudan would appear to be a lot more tolerant than us.

Listen ! can you hear that ? Sounds very much like the sound of a barrel being scraped

Really? No it doesn't sound like that, it's a more earthy sound, like a dead horse being flogged.

This video perfectly sums up 99% of the posts on this board at the not, yet is more entertaining. Rather than trawl though all the threads I suggest watching this short clip....

The answer is simple. We are the two biggest clubs in the country and we are also huge rivals.

Happens to United too

Goes with the territory of being a big club

That should answer your question about the Chelsea fans too
