I'm a United fan mate, for 19 years of my life and forever till I die too.

We have? When? I rarely post on this board, but reading through that idiot's post made me want to reply back to his cringeworthy opinions.

Something about why people support their club, and talking about "plastics". I don't know, it was a long time ago

posted on 29/2/12

Oh I thought you meant talking with that poster, I've had various discussions on that subject yes. Some with City fans, and with others too. But that guy shouldn't be let anywhere near your club Rocket, he's the definition of a pure plastic. If you're telling me he's getting off a result at 4 months ago, does that mean he's an Ipswich fan too? Because they beat West Ham 5-1 a month ago.

It would seem everyone but Vinjay is against Vinjay's sentiments.

Some things never change...

Hey!, I still have it recorded on sky+ for when I feel down its a price I'd rather not pay for the current situation but at the end of the day there's very little ANY of us control, you just go with it and keep an open mind. Getting too wound up by things out of our control is the essence of futility.

Oh the irony of a s c. um fan calling anybody a glory hunter.

Ever tried debating with them? Yes its like trying to bang your head against a brick wall. 6 bloody years I tried time and time again.

Honestly the fact I despise your club so much was more of a motivation than trophies. After all it wasn't the takeover or even the FA Cup win that prompted me to go.

If I was going to support Barcelona I would have after they humiliated your club yet again in the champions league final.

No matter how much success City may or may not have at least the fans there have more class than your club could ever hope for. Footballs equivalent of the na zis would be a perfect description for Man United.

You don't know anything about about my past and the last thing I'm going to do is justify myself to a Man United fan!

I have posted on City boards just because I don't use this particular site often does not mean I haven't posted elsewhere. Like I said earlier in the thread (conveniently ignored) is that too logical for you to understand?

Oh and I'm making an assumption here OOJW you seem to have implied you had a drink problem at one time. Something about previous posts where you mentioned you're teetotal. I'm teetotal as well (not because of past drink issues I tried alcohol couple of times didn't like it and coke is cheaper anyway)

Maybe you should get back on it the average drunk is probably less ignorant.

I do get wound up by idiots like him though, but I should control myself more indeed.

I don't think Arab is a plastic Vinjay, and I'm normally quite harsh. He does speak sense (mostly)

Thank you Rocket

I never directly called him one (maybe his 19 years of support is due to age) but most of his clubs fans are bigger glory hunters than I'm being accused of being. Maybe he should be more concerned about that. My reasons for going to City are more genuine than most of their fans could ever claim. I've actually been to the Etihad too in recent months more than most of their fans have been ever and that includes many in this country.

Yes, I am 19 years old. And you're making out United is 100% plastic, when it had one of the largest followings in the country and in the city itself way before Fergie's success. Maybe you should do a bit of research before spouting crap, look at our attendance records in the mid 70's when United got relegated while you're at it. Maybe teach you some respect to us

posted on 29/2/12

Respect for Man United from me? That will truly be the day hell freezes over.

Yes I acknowledge your club had a massive following long before Ferguson. I know all about the history of the club (how can you not considering how often you still exploit that plane crash while clubs like bradford handle their disaster with low key dignity)

That's pretty disgusting to bring up to be honest, I won't be posting with you. There's clearly something wrong with you if you're using dead people to point score.

As much as I disagree with the general idea of it all Vinjay, least you're bold about it, and honest enough to realise that the moment you start whinging that we aren't wiping the floor with everyone and winning a trophy a season, you will get absolutely hounded. Since you feel so strongly about it, take your bad feeling away from the blackburn board, noone wins from these arguments.

posted on 29/2/12

Not doing any such thing and as for not posting with me good. If there's anything I dislike doing its speaking to fans of your club.

"you start whinging that we aren't wiping the floor with everyone and winning a trophy a season, you will get absolutely hounded." "

I wouldn't do that. I'm realistic enough to know that. I couldn't see me ever booing City players least of all Balotelli. I've always liked Mancini and want him in charge next year no matter what even if Mourinho is possibly a little bit better (I've always said in last 6-7 years Jose is best manager in Europe so I'm not going to be a hypocrite and say otherwise now) and people have talked about what might happen if Mancini does not win the title this season. Between Balotelli and Mourinho (you know he would be gone if Jose came in) I would rather see Mario everytime and its not like I dislike Mourinho.

Since you feel so strongly about it, take your bad feeling away from the blackburn board, noone wins from these arguments."

Generally I'm getting better my posts here are less frequent now.

posted on 29/2/12

Yeah, Mancini is loved for a reason, and I'd rather avoid the Mourinho Show. Our football is better than Madrids, against better opposition too. Sod Mourinho.

Plus to be honest I've seen quite a few moaners over at Blue Moon forums when City haven't won by a few goals. Fans who have been around a while too so you will get some people like that no matter what. Personally I haven't gone into a single game thinking a heavy win is guaranteed (even against Rovers this past weekend despite recent loss at Arsenal they have been anything but predictable against the top clubs under Kean) that would be the arrogance expected at Old Trafford.

posted on 29/2/12

Thats what you get at Blue Moan forum, just like you get a ton of Wums on here. The problem with that forum that its too big, so everyone is trying to get noticed with negative BS instead of fact and opinion posts.

Don't think Sheik Mansour is like Abramovich anyway firing managers left, right and centre. He's only sacked Leslie and that was 100% right. Though Chelsea fans should still be grateful they have Roman despite his faults (telling him to f off in the past and blocking his stadium plans were a bit disrespectful considering what he's done for them)

posted on 29/2/12

Post that on their board, see how it goes down

posted on 29/2/12

Well he was right to sack Ranieri, Scolari and Grant (bizarre choice in the first place) and like many I don't think AVB will last much longer.

Ah so you knew I was tee-total but still thought I would be in favour of Givet drink driving....

Assumptions, implied, guesswork....

Oh dear!

posted on 29/2/12

I'm sure there's plenty of non teetotal people who are against drink driving. I was just making an obviously incorrect assumption that you had some bad experience with alcohol in the past. Just came across that way when I recall you mentioning it in the past.

You have to admit that Givet wasn't condemned as much as Kean. People tried to justify it because Kean was called a liar but drink driving is drink driving.

Still giving dogs beer (as mentioned on thread lower down) is stupidity on a par with drink driving.
