Just an add on really to the article itself, Ben was in the army right, an engineer, hes use to discipline, towing the line etc, perhaps a club with a stronger work ethic would suit him better, maybe without being told what to do, hes a bit of a loose cannon

there was a debate on 5 live about rac ism, $exism, etc and whether words used to describe the disabled should come under the same laws that protect people from rasc ist behaviour to protect the disabled. The majority of people actually held a very similar view to myself that any, thats any, abusive behaviour aimed at anybody, regardless of race, ex, disability should all come under the same umbrella. It really does amaze me how rac isim is a big no no and yet you can get away with verbally abusing other folk because its not rac ist, no, you cant and nor should you be able too. I dont believe that Ben is a rac ist, think he made a bad judgment, not for the first time, I hasten to add. There was also a story about a French coach who didnt want black players to be picked as he believed they were too stocky, he was branded a rac ist and yet by all who knew him, said he most definitely wasnt, he just used the wrong context to convey the point he was putting across. End of rant

I really dont care what you think, in your world, everything is black or white, right or wrong, life isnt like that, if it was, you wouldnt have mitigating circumstance for murder, you wouldnt have a sentence from 5-20 for rape, the law recognises that there are certain variations to crimes and each case is considered on its own merit, racism is wrong, rape is wrong, murder is also very wrong

mock all you want, fact is I am right, Ben Cockayne had no case to answer in the eyes of the law, hence, cleared of any wrong doing, to brand him a racist is actually you abusing him, that bloke that bi mentioned that got acquitted of rape, would you brand him a rapist?

you have one case, where a man had wrote a "racist" remark on his fb wall, you call him a racist and another where a man accused of rape was found in dubious circumstances, using a rather unorthodox way of bringing around a drowing girl and yet you say, the case was dropped, he was cleared, whats the difference?
