Just because you disagree with someone it doesn’t mean you can’t commend them.
If Arsenal fans belittled the cup win then that is there opinion that it isn’t important. That doesn’t mean you have to criticise them the next chance you get!
Let’s be completely honest – of all the trophies on offer the Carling Cup is the least important. So winning it isn’t like winning the League, Champions League or even the FA cup – but it is still a trophy and is still an achievement. Not sure Arsneal fans can belittle Liverpool given their recent trophy drought – but if they do then that is their prerogative.

Remove yourself from club loyalties and look at what happened last night – it was a great fight back from Arsenal and for that they deserve credit, they were so close to doing something fantastic…
Ultimately I don’t think people should get carried away with what they did though as ultimately they failed. Yes they did look impressive – but at 4-0 I think most teams tend to take their foot off the gas, as soon as Milan needed to step up – they did.

So let’s be fair – Arsenal showed a lot of spirit last night and deserve credit for that even though they were unsuccessful. You can say that as a fan of any club surely?

should imagine some of them would have done the same if roles reversed.

I haven't been over myself, but they deserve credit for trying from nearly dead and buried to getting something, they might despise scousers (some anyway) but so do utd fans, and we seem to have a civil chat with them most of the time, until certain posters turn up.

don't want the site to turn into my c ock is bigger than your c ock scenario with all the children we seem to have on it, but a lot of posters on here are decent, it is just spoilt by a few..

Good for Arsenal. They found some of what has been recently lacking from Arsenal sides. - Guts.

A lot of their posters on ja are complete mangina's, but as a club I have nothing really against them.

They play good football and have spent a pittance. They really do need to win something. but in comparison to other clubs, they are an extremely well run club.

Their fickle support lets them down.

They played well, fair enough. You can't deny they didn't put the effort in but they still fell short.

Glorious failure yet again.

Great game to watch mind. I would've liked to have seen them progress but I'm with the OP with respect to the reaction of some 'Pool fans.

I was just egging them on saying "score 3 and Milan will wobble" while watching Torres not scoring on TV.
I was bored, sorry
