Doesnt sound very good does it? With the narcotics bureau involved aswell it sounds like hes being charged with laundering drug money??
Ofcourse i could be completely wrong, however regardless of where our club ends up i just hope justice is done one way or the other.
If proved guilty i hope he gets 14 years.

As long as that dont mean 14 years of doom for us

On serious note its not that bad even if Carson goes down, because he is not the largest shareholder.

The company could most likely be passed to Polly Anne who would steady the ship to protect her interest and then find another buyer.

We should wait to see whats going on but what a June this has been.

Infact everything some Wolves and Villa Wums said would happen to us has happened during May/June the next part of what they was saying is Administration, then go bust!

Can we go back up if charges are raised and will we be banned from Euro next year.

I wonder whether this as why AM seems like he wasnt bothered last few home games.

Makes you wonder what is going on.

Polly Anna is the real money banker on this and would be better to let them take control knowing that we are and have a money backer .

We will need that too move into next level not another Kumar era can only happen too us.

If the club can prove that someone else on the board or who has shares in the club is willing and able to finance the club then we would not go bust!

Now had our club read Carson Yeung as sole 100% owner of all shares.

Then we could be up $£$"£ Creek without a paddle.

But thats not the case, so it could fall down to Polly Anne but she is far from sqeaky clean herself.

With regards to Polly Anne i am not sure she is interested.

Why did Yeung have to borrow off his assets to keep us a float why did Polly Anne not loan the money.

Polly Anne was someone who lent Yeung the money to take over and maybe she was given large shares in the club purely to cover the money she loaned.

Like if say you cnat get a Morgage because of poor credit, or no assets.

So you ask someone in your family to be the Garuntor on the Morgage in return for them to say own 25% of your house.

That family member is not responsible for if you wanted to fit a new kitchen and kit out the house with new furnishings.

If you cant afford to pay back the morgage though, then it would be them who would then have to cover the Morgage and you lose your grasp on it.

Maybe not a ideal analogy.

But what i am saying is Polly Anne Chui to us is just as what Balram Chainrai was to Portsmouth.

Had Al-Fahim had the money to cover the loan and run Portsmouth then Balram Chainrai would had just been a quiet share holder if that in the back ground.

July is massive Month for our club its where things will have to get sorted as far as players in and out etc.

This could really be a major spanner in the works.

The clubs shares are frozen and not being funny the clubs transfers could now also face the same, but then the FA can take charge and allow/force club to sell players off.

Pannu says all is well:

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7011110,00.html

"The fans don't have anything to worry about, the finances are fine, everything is OK. When I am back I will update you guys.

"I have got to apologise to them (the fans), but these things do happen. No charges are proven against him."

So, based on his past record we can expect the bailiffs before the weekend. I hate that fat lying loser.

Just out of interest fellas', how often has something like this happened to you?

No? Me neither.

I thought everything was beginning to look up, then bang.. this happens

Yeung is slowly turning us into a laughing stock, about the only decent thing he has done since being here is bring Hughton in, oh, and gave me my name

Another one of Pannu's all is well comments is un-nerving. I do wish that we could just be told the truth for once.

We won't go out of business but if our owner is locked up for these crimes then it will have an effect on us. Instead of trying to sugar coat everthing for us, just tell us the truth, we are big and old enough and certianly ugly enough!

There's no point us all wringing our hands, we've just got to wait and see.
Whatever PP says, is to be expected under the circumstances and we are going to just have to wait to see if there is a courtcase and what the outcome of that will be.
When it's all said and done, there should be other interest if the club was to be sold off or taken over more by some of the existing shareholders.
I think it is true to say that now we are seeing that [not in a derogatory or underhand way] CY is the front man, bon vivant etc, and this episode may well have to draw out the real people behind the scenes.
Players are to be sold, a balloon payment is due and there is revenue scheduled from next season in the Championship so it is not all doom and gloom.

If it's proved that he used laundered money to buy Birmingham City then it's possible the club could be seized by Hong Kong police and you could well and truly be in trouble. Coulld have to be sold to somebody else.

If Yeungs company shares have been suspended and the next court date is August the 11th how on earth can we sign any players for next season??

Im not surprised everyone is fleeing this sinking ship like rats, soon there will only be the fans left......

These are indeed dark times for blues

JK thats the way things are

Panu is not gonna comment, if it was Man Utd they would not comment same as most people.

If King got into trouble Panu would not comment right away, same would be same if it was a Villa player.

Panu may not know 100% whats going on and so cant comment, and if he did know whats going on and that Carson was guilty he is not going to come out and say "yes Carson is a crook and we gonna go bust"

The main concern now is the shares are frozen, and we have no Prem income, its going to mean cash flow could be a issue, worse is that for the time being it means we cant really move forwards with transfers and the like.

It could come down to not being able to pay wages like Pompy had, but we do not know about that yet.

What needs to happen is someone on the share holders, say Polly Anne has to come out and take controll and thus remove Carson from Chairman.

Then maybe the club can do business.

As of now regardless of how less he owns of the clubs shares or how much/less money he has, Yeung is listed as the Chairman and the Owner of the club.

And as long as that stays how things are then, thats reallly going to make it hard for our club to run on any kind of basis.

No one knows yet of any potential cash crisis, meaning we do not know if the club can get money to cover wages, sign players or even run the club.

It may do, it may not no one of us knows, only Panu would know and if he is not 100% i am sure he is going to have to find out some answers.

A big worry is even if the smoke settles then clubs are not going to want to do anybusiness with us in future.

If we want X player for £10M a club will want to pay the full £10M in cash before letting us talk to them, then as a player you would have concerns over if i sign for this club could their be potentially a point where like with Portsmouth the club could end up with no money to pay my wages.

So yes a very very worrying time ahead.

I was not a bad no nonsence CB like a smaller 5ft10 but 16 stone RJ when i played football from time to time, my work rate made Jeromes look poor.

But then i could not pass a ball, or shoot and score, i was in essence a road block

Is any one on here pretty good at playing we could make our own team

If we do well maybe some of us could defect to Villa for a propper footballers wage then declare they was always a Villa fan

Leicester fan here, we had money laundering charges over Mandarics head for his last two years here though obviously yeungs are of a different gravity
The bottom line is it didn't affect us directly, ignore all the tabloid sensationalism and let it wash over you- your club needs as much positive focus as possible to get back up

He even started to FORGE a chain of hairdressing shops .

WelL Mr Yeung was a hair dresser and it looks like he's trimmed too much off the top and left us SHORT BACK and SIDES. The BRUSH with the law, has revealed his bald spot and now we are really in the shamPOO. Let's hope he doesn't leave the club to CURL UP and DYE, and BLOW WAVE us a PERManent goodbye. Let's hope he has more money in his SHAVING account.

Banjo, if you are still taking anything that liar Pannu says seriously then you are a mug.

He says all is well and that "these things happen".

Do YOU agree? Is this normal? Of course not.

I just hope Pannu is more making his escape than flying to HK to clarify things. Fingers crossed that the HK police have a pair of cuffs and a cell waiting for the fat dope.

Ha Ha Brum you was one of the king of Wums....

But that was funny

Hey at least we can keep our sence of humour.

Indeed JK had concerns he was right to be concerned, by ploy was with no concrete evidence of us in big trouble all we could do is go with the flow and hope the worse never happens ad cross that bridge when we get there.

So indeed seems Yeung had took a gamble he could not really take, now its us who could face the costs in the long term.

Never easy being a Bluenose.

And while i had concerns over how McLeish used poor tactics in the league even before Xmass i always thought we had the quality to stay up, but has some concerns.

The thing is poor management and relegation can be taken care of, you get a new Manager and thats not a problem.

But as for having poor owners who cant run the club, well their is no easy or quick fix.

Seems boring Football is not as bad as no Football at all

Nice one Taity! Yes Banjo, we have to keep our sense of humour, or we would all go insane with Blues. I just can't believe what's going on now. Let's hope it's all sorted out sooner than later.

JK i am no MUG

I never said anyone who who things McLeish never had tactical problems is a MUG, maybe needed to open their eyes a bit

With the board what can we do, we cant go down and say we think your skint can you go and leave us please.

They was not going to disclose they had problems if they did have any, seems they have.

All i said with Panu was this news has just broken and we dont know if Panu was aware of any dodgy dealings with Yeung and if he did how can we prove that he knows whats going on.

You felt something was not right, all the smoke and mirrors, maybe McLeish knew/felt that aswell.

Well seems their is no smoke without fire.

My concerns was that while they was trying to run us as a club i had worries that running and financing the club was beyond their means, well Yeung never had the cash and wondered how he would fund us, which is not so bad in the Prem, but once relegated could be a Nightmare.

But untill we had 100% reasons to worry, we just had to get on with it.

Now it seems not only we need to worry, but maybe Yeung is/was a doddgy business man. We never had no proof of that before.

Seems like thats the case now though, and once this is sorted i would prefer them to sell us to someone who can actually run us, even if that means only as a Championship Club.

I never said the board smelt of roses, i always felt they was trying to run the club and do well, without no real investment well it was all queit and so while they could loan a few debts ontop of Prem income and we could have concerns, i feared that relegation with a owner who is skint or does not have the funds means trouble.

Now it seems worse than that, due to these criminal activities well that means we really could be left up POO CREEK WITH NO PADDLE.

Lucky for McLeish and players they can jump out before the watter gets too deep.

For us its gonna be a rough ride and we could end up at the bottom of the sea like the Titanic was
