Premier League or Champions League?

Prem every time. Good team wins the league luckey team wins the cup, which is essentially what the champs lg is . Too many games decided by poor linesman/referee desicions. Loss of form, injuries suspensions, all even themselves out over a 38 game league season . Knockout football they dont.

Not really, after claiming that we bribed John Ruddy and the referee yesterday, I think it's fairly safe to assume you're suffering from some sort of breakdown and as such nothing surprises me about your behaviour. Writing like an adult though may be be helpful in regards to avoiding misunderstandings in the future.

Hope this helps.

The Champions League is still largely a knock out cup competition despite the name, hence there is always more prestige in winning the Premier League, as it is greater evidence of a teams superiority.

Also a lot of people seem to think there is more money awarded to the winner of the champions league, I suggest you check your figures x

Prem would be great but I would love to be the first London club to win the European cup. We probably would have more chance to win that one also as redknapp is incapable of using a squad to make us last a whole prem season. Either way either one is so far off that it's not even worth thinking about

Premier league definitely tougher to win but Champions league is about competing (and winning) against the best of the best - so Champions league for me

Ironically, it's a Liverpool fan that said that I bet if Liverpool had 1 CL and 50 PL trophies they'd claim the PL is more prestigious. Since United have more domestic cups than them, they now think the CL is the top priority. It's funny because you'd think they'd have worked hard in getting a top 4 place to back that point up, but next season they'll probably claim the EL is the better trophy

Ferguson says the CL is the best competition in the world

Anyone left in the Champions league will say that's the bigger prize but the reallity is a pro will always say that at the start of the season the league is the one they want. To name a few who have said this in recent years - Sir Alex, Mourinho, Nev, JT, Giggs, Carrickature....

Dunno why you are commenting, Liverpool don't get to compete in the Champions League anymore, and have never won the Premier league...

Talking about Man u goal given offside against porto when wasnt. Juventus goal ditto at anfield when liverpool went on to win it. Del horno ridiculous red card V Barca. Ref 2 years later against Barca. Liverpools goal which never crossed the line ect, ect. And the fact that you can win the tournament on a penalty shoot out, luck of the draw all too much about luck. And worse of all how tackling is almost oulawed in the Champs lg matches.

No he didn't, he praises it and says its great to compete in which is true. You compete with European clubs and such, but he always ranks the PL higher than the CL and I explained it in my OP.

Winning the title for me then on the basis that'll go to at least 19 of the games and will actually feel part of it.

I always want us to win the league because it gives you bragging rights over every single club in England, that you are the best. You don't have to be the best to win the CL though, as the likes of Inter, Porto and Liverpool have shown in recent seasons. That being said the CL is the holy grail that clubs like Arsenal need to win to really be placed alongside Europe's elite.

If SAF thinks the CL is higher than the PL, then he would not play 2nd team players in the knockout stages. In the PL he always plays the best 11 he has on hand.

Not neccesarily.

CL can be, and has been in the past, about competing against nations 3rd and 4th best teams and small nations teams all the way up to the final.

I doubt it, my life doesn't revolve around another teams success or failure.

Sure - there can be seasons where the "giants" are drawn against each other and a "lesser" team might progress. But generally speaking you will need to beat top European teams to win it.
