"I'd love for Arsenal to win the CL at least once. From then on I would prioritise the league."

I think with 20 odd consecutive attempts, you could do it.
What do you think ??

What has England got to do with my statement that Spain won't win the European Championships?

Bayern would not win the Premier League you muppet. They can't even win their own domestic league so get your facts right. And with the two team dominance that the Spanish clubs have, the monopoly of tv money, and government money it's little surprise they could do well in our league or any other league. Please, if you are going to comment don't come on here and expect us to be educated to the level of your typical Liverpool fan.

The only reason Bayern aren't going to win the Bundesliga is because of the physically demanding distractions of being in the CL, which Dortmund have not had to contend with. Also, before calling me a muppet, think about this- in the CL last 16, Bayern faced Basel, the team that effectively knocked out Man United with an excellent performance. Bayern annilhiated them 7-0, 7-1 on aggregate. They also dominated Man City, the other PL title challengers, when they played them at the Allianz Arena in the group phase. With regards to Madrid and Barca's TV money, it's a valid point, but do you think Man Utd would be anywhere near where they are now without the same global appeal that Madrid and Barca enjoy? Despite what you think, I'm not trying to undermine United's likely PL win, I'm just giving my opinion. I didn't realise anyone who disagrees with you is automatically a 'muppet'.

Bloscar09-ASK_HIM - City were well beaten, but I think "dominated" is a stretch, and there were mitigating circumstances we all know well enough x

I don't think you can put Tevez forward as mitigating circumstances.

Perhaps, but he does score the occasional goal x

'Dominated City'? That's odd because it was 2-2 over both legs.

The Bayern love in is going to end when Madrid put them to the sword. Bayern are much the same team that put us out a couple of years ago. And that was only because we played most of the game with ten men, No Rooney and a Robben wonder goal. Only Barca and Madrid would have a shout of coming in and winning our league and that's because of the wealth they have. As for United's supposed wealth. We don't splash the cash like others in this league so I don't think you can say we're where we are because of money. It's a factor but so are several other more important factors like the manager, youth policy, structure, inherent attitude of the club and players in relation to workrate and never say die attitude.

Don't any of you rags actually watch United when they're playing?

Boris. There's this great invention called mobile phones. And on those phones you can access the internet and post comments from anywhere in the world.

Lovely win today. Villa the perfect team to be playing at this time of the season. Just like Norwich for you yesterday. Easy three points, another game gone.

@carrickature
Man Utd spend money but not as much as they use to before! Before if you had a problem you had to solve Sir Alex would splash the amount of money needed to solve it, and 90% of the time it worked.

However since the Glazers game in you don't seem to be doing that any more. Especially with the £80 million you got from Ronaldo. But because of SAF you hadn't needed to, great manager

I have one of those phones myself, it stays firmly in my pocket though when I'm at a football match and my team is out there on the pitch.

Look at the times of my posts. Half time and full time. Was looking throughout the game though. Very easy straightforward game today.

First round. First time in the tournament.
Drew the defending champions.

What an easy bye that was for Cloughie.

Apparently the European Cup was a lame competition between 1969 and 1998 and any triumphs during that period are totally meaningless.
