Like i said, we are 8/1 on getting him.

He could work well with Torres though, hopefully they have kept their understanding (if there was one). Were they a front 2 then? I imagine Aguero would have been a bit young for Torres' level at the time. Also, did Athletico have Torres, Kun AND Forlan all in the same team at the same time?

Can't see him coming here. City is his likely destination.

Aguero and Torres only spent one season together, but both spoke very highly of each other and always maintained they would like to play together again some day.

Forlan was at the club in 2007, the same as Torres, but i think Torres left for Liverpool just before/just after Forlan arrived.

Interesting.

Ian McGarry has said that a bid from Chelsea for Aguero is imminent and wants to build the team around he and Torres, not just Torres.

Also see's him as the ideal player to get the best out of Torres.

So Forlan was just a replacement for Torres.

Anyway as I said one of Sanchez/Aguero would do nicely. If that's the case I think we'll have to go for VDW though to help provide width. Scolari tried this sort of tactic and it didn't work out.
