I to would also like 'B' teams where our youths would play for Championship teams, but could neither get promoted or relegated. Only concern is that I think the Championship is on a higher level than second tier leagues in Spain, Germany and Italy, and the FA is to stubborn to do this.

Having said that, there is a new comptetion being introduced next season, called the U19 Champions League, I hink 12 teams have been considered so far and if my memory serves me right, Liveropol, United and Villa are the ones confirmed from England. Would be a good chance for our youth to show it's talent and there were rumours that we were going to be in it

Would be extremely interesting for a PL team to enter a youth side into the bottom tier of English football. Obviously it would never happen due to the sheer amount of time to get promoted, and the fact those players would be playing at such a low level. But interesting none the less.

Maybe they could start the ladder with a bunch of 14 year old kids.

^Turkey saying nothing has been agreed regarding Hiddink. No real surprise.

There's probably been contact obviously, but they did say nothing would happen until next week anyway when Hiddink returns from holiday.

What do people think of this? I've heard he's really impressed at benfica and Na Na SLB (Benfica fan from old 606) said his performances were worth around 20 million IHO. For 13 million he could be worth a shot for the right

Jeffrey Bruma's agent has confirmed that Bruma wants to join Hamburg and hopes that deal can be concluded soon.

Dosen't say,didn't seem like a loan though.

When we sent Bruma on loan to Leicester his agent said he only wanted to move on loan and then they would evaluate the situation when he returned.

Looks like it could be a transfer.

It would be a shame to see yet another youth prospect go. I hope Bruma stays. I think he could break into the squad eventually.

I remember reading an article from Leon Beenhakker after we had reached an agreement to sign teenager Nathan Ake from Feyenoord. Man city had also signed a youngster of theirs.

Anyway, he was saying that they are pretty much powerless to stop there best young talents from leaving, but he said the majority of them who leave at a young age often end up back in Dutch football or they never make it at the team they go to. (Big teams like Chelsea/United etc).

Forgot about Ake, what happened to him? Is he in our youth team right now or is he joining in the summer or something?

Wonder how he reminds me of...rhymes with bullet Don't play the same positions though

He must be in the youth acadamy.

We signed him in December 2010 but he couldn't sign properly with us until his 16th birthday in February. So i'm going to assume he's with the youth team and not the reserves yet.

Reports in Spain suggest that Neymar could be on his way to Real Madrid.

But been told that the deal with Chelsea is to far gone, well negotiations are anyway for Madrid to snatch him.

You're still confident the Neymar deal could go ahead, Steve?

If we got two out of those for, a combination of Modric or Fabregas and Sneijder or Pastore could potentially work together, with Modric/Fab taking a deeper play maker role.

Although, that being said, I don't think we will sign more than one of that list.

Not really sure on Neymar to be honest.

Keep getting told that the deal still is there etc. Think it's just a case of his agent as usual trying to market his playey so we pay top money for him in the end.
