He's tried keeping it consistent with AC & Rudiger. But it's not exactly resulted in clean sheets. I think there is a general lack of protection in front of them. We haven't got that Fabinho type player who just sits in there.

I think that 3-4-2-1/3-4-3 formation mentioned above gives us the most solidity in defense as well as allows us to put Alonso in the side with his added goal threat.

Not saying I want Alonso here beyond the summer but let's use what we have in the squad for the remainder of the season. Same applies to Giroud.

Just saw my first Sancho highlight. Had his shot blocked. Sign him.

Not a massive Emerson fan, but I'd prefer a left footer at LB.

Azpi ruins every attack down the left hand side by either going inside on his right or putting a tame cross in with his left.

If Emerson could improve his final ball then I'm all for it but he's been poor when played this season

Emerson has been awful...but I'm done with Alonso. So emerson is the lesser of 2 evils for me.

I'm happy for the 3 at the back to be trialed. It gives us more height to defend set pieces with an extra CB and Alonso at LWB.

I think we'll go back 3 for Spurs and Bayern.

Alonso is a good WB so I'd play him in those game.

Alonso is a terrible LB but as a LWB he's got some decent qualities going forward plus he's good in the air which will help in both boxes.
