In other words, it wouldn't matter which of the two games you won, as long as it was one of them, and either United or Leicester draw one of their week 37 games.

I think I got that right, might be mistaken though.

So it's ok for Spurs not to win then.

BTW the beat Man City too, but to a negative fanfare. Why are Arsenal suddenly being proclaimed as some kinda positive case study? They lost to feckin Spurs ffs.

There is no perspective anymore

A manager has choices. For example, he can decide to make the most of what he has and compromise on his ideogy, or he can decide to stick to his ideogy for the long term vision he has for how he wants the team to play, even in the knowledge that he doesn't have the squad to pull it off YET!

Personally I think a manager is wasting valuable time syi g a style that he does not believe in.

Its way too early to know if Frank' s style it gonna work, but let it ay out Fgs. Don't start writing us based on one season let alone post lockdown football which is a unique anomoly affecting all players and teams.

The strange thing is there was was a sustained period when Kovacic was running at teams, breaking through the lines and causing real problems, but for some reason that has stopped.

Frank trying to shore up the defence.

It really is a balancing act with our current squad. Frank has shown himself to be somewhat reactionary and I am not sure that is always a good thing.

Not sure what it is about the league

If we met Wolves in say the FA cup semi or final I would be supremely confident we win

posted on 19/7/20

I think we are a team who can just as easily lose or win to any other side in the PL. I don't go into any games with a high level of confidence of the outcome and that continues till the final whistle blows with us

Never again should we be so short up front. 3 years and we haven't replaced Costa adequately. Giroud is scoring but missing too many as well which cost us v West Ham and left us on the edge of our seat v Norwich. Werners arrival I hope will help. I'd still bring in another striker.

I don’t disagree with a word of this. Got a lot to fix this summer.

I doubt there is anything in that article that Lampard or the majority of Chelsea fans needed to be told.

Next season is going to be litmus test for him

I reckon we are almost as vulnerable to concede from our own corners as we are from opposition corners
