Dua Lipa is a classic example of everything i hate about the music industry.

Funny you say that. I think most modern pop is trash, so you could have picked almost any other example, but really like some of her new songs. Picked up a fair amount of critical acclaim as well compared to what you’d normally expect.

Don’t Start Now is better than any of his songs ever.
I didn’t mind Ed Sheeran until his last album came out and got blasted literally everywhere. Mostly inoffensive acoustic stuff until then. Must have unwillingly heard Shape Of You about 100 times now.
In general I like the 80s synth pop inspired trend that’s been revived in recent times.

I would argue Break my Heart and Physical are also anything Sheeran has produced.
Sheeran's music at the start of his career was fairly promising - whilst not exactly great, it did show he had talent. However, since then he really hasn't matured as an artist or challenging himself particularly.
He makes some of the most soulless music these days. Which is a shame because I do think he could be doing a lot better.
