ST is the biggest priority, the lack of goals and clinical edge up front is clear.

Don't think we're too badly covered in other areas. Potentially a CB instead of Silva.

In a back three Christensen is the natural Silva replacement. Though we may sell Zouma and sign another just to freshen it up.

I don't see what Rice offers in a double pivot wd don't have with Kante, Jorginho, Gilmour or Kovacic. Would be more interested for sure if we were going 433 and looking for a lone DM.

Yeah if AC can continue his good form, jury is still out for me. May need cover for Azpi as well, so CB makes sense. And yeah Zouma could possibly go.

I'm happy with the 4 CM's we have as well.

I can't see any club choosing to leave their domestic league and I think government might intervene to prevent that happening shd any club try.

They are trying to leave the CL already Biggish. The greed of elite clubs including Chelsea, they want to be in a globetrotting super league funded by US banks with no heritage, history or sense of jeopardy. I want Chelsea to win the CL. Not some joke MacGuffin made out of money.

If UEFA and PL put their foot down and say you can't be in your domestic league or CL if you do this, then I fear Chelsea will still leave to make these new money leagues. In which case that's it for me.

Maybe,but I think there is justification for government intervention in that situation and they could impose really tough sanctions at all levels of the club.

I think there is an argument to be made that protecting domestic football is a Public Good.

I mean I’d think that in theory but would still end up watching our games. You’re right though I wouldn’t feel as emotionally connected. Would probs make an effort to watch the women’s team and AFC Wimbledon matches.
